Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

Sal 83:2

For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

Ry Andriamanitra 6ocirc;, aza dia mijanom-potsiny; aza mangina na mitsahatra, ry Andriamanitra!

O Dieu, ne reste pas muet, plus de repos, plus de silence, ô Dieu!

Sal 83:3

They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

Sal 83:4

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

Mamoron-tsaina hamandrihana ny vahoakanao izy, miara-mioko hamely ny olona arovanao.

Contre ton peuple ils trament un complot, conspirent contre tes protégés

Sal 83:5

For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

Asora koa mikambana amin' izy ireo, ka manampy ny taranak' i Lota. - Selà.

Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.

Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

Ataovy tahaka an' i Oreba sy Zeba ny mpanapaka azy. Eny, ny andrianany rehetra dia ataovy tahaka an' i Zebaha sy Zaimona,

Ripaka tao Andora izy, ka tonga zeziky ny tany.

Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

Izay nanao hoe: aoka halaintsika ho antsika ny fonenan' Andriamanitra.

Ataovy tahaka an' i Oreba sy Zeba ny lehiben' izy ireo, ary tahaka an' i Zebea sy Salmana ny andriandahy rehetra aminy.

Traite leurs princes comme Oreb et Zéeb, comme Zébah et Calmunna, tous leurs chefs,

Sal 83:13

O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

Andriamanitro ô, ataovy tahaka ny tadio ireo, dia tahaka ny akofa entin' ny rivotra,

Fa hoy izy: Aoka halaintsika ho antsika, ireo fonenan' Andriamanitra!

Sal 83:14

As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

Tahaka ny afo mandoro ala sy tahaka ny lelafo mampirehitra tendrombohitra;

Ry Andriamanitro ô, ataovy tahaka ny tadio ireo, tahaka ny mololo entin' ny rivotra!

Mon Dieu, traite-les comme une roue d' acanthe, comme un fétu en proie au vent.

Sal 83:15

So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

Aoka ho toy izany no anafotofotoanao azy amin' ny tadionao, sy ampahatahoranao azy amin' ny tafio-drivotrao.

Tahaka ny afo mandevona ny ala, tahaka ny lelafo mampirehitra ny tendrombohitra;

Comme un feu dévore une forêt, comme la flamme embrase les montagnes,

Sal 83:16

Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.

Sarony henatra ny tavany, mba hitadiavany ny anaranao, Jehovah ô.

Sal 83:17

Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

Aoka ho menatra sy ho amin-tahotra mandrakizay izy; eny, aoka hangaihay sy haringana izy.

Safory henatra ny tavany, mba hitadiavany ny anaranao, ry Iaveh!

Couvre leur face de honte, qu' ils cherchent ton nom, Yahvé!

Sal 83:18

That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Ary aoka ho fantany fa Hianao irery ihany, Izay atao hoe Jehovah, no ilay Avo Indrindra ambonin' ny tany rehetra.

Aoka izy ho menatra sy ho raiki-tahotra mandrakizay, sy hangaihay ary ho azon' ny fandringanana.

Sur eux la honte et l'épouvante pour toujours, la confusion et la perdition,

Sal 83:19

Aoka ho fantany fa hianao - dia Iaveh no anaranao, - hianao ihany no ilay Avo indrindra ambonin' ny tany rehetra!

et qu' ils le sachent : toi seul as nom Yahvé, Très-Haut sur toute la terre.
