Sal 106:1

Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Haleloia. Miderà an' i Jehovah, fa tsara Izy, Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony.

Aleloia! Ankalazao Iaveh, fa tsara fo izy, satria mandrakizay ny famindram-pony.

Alleluia! Rendez grâce à Yahvé, car il est bon, car éternel est son amour!

Sal 106:2

Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?

Iza no mahalaza ny asa lehibe ataon' i Jehovah, Na mahatonona ny fiderana Azy rehetra?

Iza no mahalaza ny asa amin-kerim-po ataon' ny Tompo, iza no mahambara ny voninahiny rehetra?

Qui dira les prouesses de Yahvé, fera retentir toute sa louange?

Sal 106:3

Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Sambatra izay mitandrina ny mety Ka manao ny marina mandrakariva.

Sambatra izay mitandrina ny lalàna, ka manaraka ny rariny mandrakariva!

Heureux qui observe le droit, qui pratique en tout temps la justice!

Sal 106:4

Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

Jehovah ô, tsarovy aho araka ny fankasitrahanao ny olonao; Vangio amin' ny famonjenao aho,

Ry Iaveh ô, tsarovy aho amin' ny hatsaram-ponao amin' ny vahoakanao, vangio amin' ny famonjenao aho,

Souviens-toi de moi, Yahvé, par amour de ton peuple, visite-moi par ton salut,

Sal 106:5

That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

Hahitako ny soa azon' ny voafidinao, Hifaliako amin' ny fifalian' ny firenenao, Hiravoravoako miaraka amin' ny lovanao.

hahitako ny hasambaran' ny olom-boafidinao, hifaliako amin' ny fifalian' ny vahoakanao, ary hiravoravoako miaraka amin' ny lovanao.

que je voie le bonheur de tes élus, joyeux de la joie de ton peuple, glorieux avec ton héritage!

Sal 106:6

We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

Efa nanota izahay mbamin' ny razanay, Efa nanao izay meloka sy ratsy izahay.

Efa nanota toy ny razanay izahay, nahavita heloka izahay, nanao ratsy izahay.

Nous avons failli avec nos pères, nous avons dévié, renié;

Sal 106:7

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

Ny razanay tany Egypta tsy mba nandinika ny fahagagana nataonao; Tsy mba nahatsiaro ny habetsahan' ny famindram-ponao ireny, Fa niodina teo amoron-dranomasina, Dia teo amoron' ny Ranomasina Mena

Ny razanay tany Ejipta tsy nihevitra ny fahagagana nataonao, tsy nahatsiaro ny hamaroan' ny fahasoavanao; niodina teo amoron-dranomasina, dia ny ranomasina Mena.

nos pères en Egypte n' ont pas compris tes merveilles. Ils n' eurent pas souvenir de ton grand amour, ils bravèrent le Très-Haut à la mer des Joncs.

Sal 106:8

Nevertheless he saved them for his name' s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

Kanefa namonjy azy ihany Izy noho ny anarany, Mba hampahafantarany ny asany lehibe.

Namonjy azy anefa izy noho ny anarany, mba hampiharihary ny fahefany.

Il les sauva à cause de son nom, pour faire connaître sa prouesse.

Sal 106:9

He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

Dia noteneniny mafy ny Ranomasina Mena, ka tonga maina iny; Ary nitondra azy nita ny rano lalina tahaka ny efitra Izy,

Nambanany ny ranomasina Mena, dia maina io, ka nentiny nita ny hantsana toy ny namaky ny efitra izy ireo.

Il menaça la mer des Joncs, elle sécha, il les mena sur l' abîme comme au désert,

Sal 106:10

And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

Namonjy azy tamin' ny tanan' ny mpandrafy Izy Ary nanavotra azy tamin' ny tanan' ny fahavalo.

Namonjy azy tamin' ny tànan' izay nankahala azy izy, nanafaka azy tamin' ny tànan' ny mpampahory azy.

les sauva de la main de l' ennemi, les racheta de la main de l' adversaire.

Sal 106:11

And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

Dia nosaronan' ny rano kosa ny rafiny. Ka tsy nisy niangana na dia iray akory aza.

Nosaforan' ny onjan-drano ireo mpandrafy azy, ka tsy nisy niangana na dia iray aza.

Et les eaux recouvrirent leurs oppresseurs, pas un d' entre eux n'échappa.

Sal 106:12

Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

Dia nino ny teniny izy Ka nihira ny fiderana Azy.

Dia nino ny teniny izy ireo tamin' izay, ary nihira fiderana azy.

Alors ils eurent foi en ses paroles, ils chantèrent sa louange.

Sal 106:13

They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

Nalaky nanadino ny asany izy ka tsy niandry ny saina hatolony,

Kanjo kosa izy ireo nalaky nanadino ny asany, tsy niandry ny hanatanterahany izay voakasany.

Ils coururent oublier ses actions, ils n' attendirent pas même son projet;

Sal 106:14

But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

Fa fatra-pila izy tany an-efitra, Sady naka fanahy an' Andriamanitra tany an-tany foana.

Voan' ny fitsiriritana tany an' efitra izy, ka naka fanahy an' Andriamanitra tany an-tany mangingina.

ils brûlaient de désir dans le désert, ils tentaient Dieu parmi les solitudes.

Sal 106:15

And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

Dia nomeny azy izay nilainy, Kanefa nampahahiaziny kosa izy.

Nomeny azy ihany izay nangatahany, fa nasiany fahiazana kosa izy ireo.

Il leur accorda leur demande il envoya la fièvre dans leur âme;

Sal 106:16

They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the Lord.

Dia nialona an' i Mosesy tany an-toby Izy ireo Sady nialona an' i Arona, olo-masin' i Jehovah.

Tao an-toby indray izy ireo nialona an' i Moizy, sy Aarona ilay olo-masin' ny Tompo.

ils jalousèrent Moïse dans le camp, Aaron le saint de Yahvé.

Sal 106:17

The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.

Nisokatra ny tany, dia nitelina an' i Datana Ka nanarona ny antokon' i Abìrama.

Fa nisokatra ny tany, ka nitelina an' i Datana, sy nikatona nanarona ny antokon' i Abirona.

La terre s' ouvre, elle avale Datân et recouvre la bande d' Abiram;

Sal 106:18

And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

Dia nisy afo nirehitra tamin' ny antokony; Lelafo no nandoro ny ratsy fanahy.

Nolevonin' ny afo ny antokon' izy ireo, dia levon' ny lelafo ny ratsy fanahy.

un feu s' allume contre leur bande, une flamme embrase les renégats.

Sal 106:19

They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

Nanao ombilahy kely tany Horeba izy Ka niankohoka teo anoloan' ny sarin-javatra an-idina.

Nanao zanak' ombalahy izy teo an-tendrombohitra Horeba, dia niankohoka teo anoloan' ny sarin-javatra anidina.

Ils fabriquèrent un veau en Horeb, se prosternèrent devant une fonte;

Sal 106:20

Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

Ary ny voninahiny dia natakalony Sarin' ny omby homana ahitra.

Ny voninahitr' izy ireo, dia natakalony sarin' omby miraoka ahitra.

ils échangèrent leur gloire pour l' image du boeuf mangeur d' herbe.

Sal 106:21

They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

Nohadinoiny Andriamanitra, Mpamonjy azy, Izay efa nanao zava-dehibe tany Egypta,

Nohadinoiny Andriamanitra Mpamonjy azy, izay nanao zava-dehibe tany Ejipta,

Ils oubliaient Dieu qui les sauvait, l' auteur de grandes choses en Egypte,

Sal 106:22

Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

Dia fahagagana tany amin' ny tanin' i Hama sy zava-mahatahotra teo amin' ny Ranomasina Mena.

fahagagana tany amin' ny tanin' i Kama, famantarana teo amin' ny ranomasina Mena.

de merveilles en terre de Cham, d'épouvantes sur la mer des Joncs.

Sal 106:23

Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

Ary nikasa handringana azy Izy, Raha tsy Mosesy voafidiny no nandroso hijoro tamin' ny banga teo anatrehany hampiala ny fahatezerany mba tsy handringanany azy.

Efa nolazainy haringana izy ireo; raha tsy Moizy olom-boafidiny, no nitsangana teo anatrehany hisakana ny hatezerany tsy handringana azy.

Il parlait de les supprimer, si ce n' est que Moïse son élu se tint sur la brèche devant lui pour détourner son courroux de détruire.

Sal 106:24

Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

Ary nanamavo ny tany mahafinaritra ireo Sady tsy mba nino ny teniny,

Izy ireo nanamavo ny tanim-pahafinaretana tsy nino ny tenin' ny Tompo.

Ils refusèrent une terre de délices, ils n' eurent pas foi en sa parole;

Sal 106:25

But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.

Fa nimonomonona tany an-dainy Ka tsy nihaino ny feon' i Jehovah.

Nimonomonona tao an-dainy, ary naneky ny feony izy ireo,

ils murmurèrent sous leurs tentes, ils n'écoutèrent pas la voix de Yahvé.

Sal 106:26

Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

Dia nanandratra ny tànany taminy Izy, Fa hampiampatrampatra azy any an-efitra

ka dia nanainga ny tànana izy hamely azy ireo, handringana azy any an' efitra:

Il leva la main sur eux, pour les abattre au désert,

Sal 106:27

To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

Ary ny taranany kosa any amin' ny jentilisa, Ary hampihahakahaka azy any amin' ny tany maro Izy.

hahavery ny taranany any amin' ny firenena, ary hanely azy any an-tany hafa.

pour abattre leur lignée chez les païens, pour les parsemer dans les pays.

Sal 106:28

They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

Nikambana tamin' i Bala-peora ireo ka nihinana ny fanatitra ho an' ny maty,

Niraikitra tamin' i Beelfegora izy ireo, ka nihinana ny sorona natolotra ho an' ny maty.

Ils se mirent au joug de Baal-Péor et mangèrent les sacrifices des morts.

Sal 106:29

Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

Dia nampahatezitra an' i Jehovah tamin' ny nataony, Ka dia namely azy tampoka ny areti-mandringana.

Nampahatezitra an' ny Tompo tamin' ny nataony izy ireo, dia nibosesehan' ny loza.

Ils l' indignèrent par leurs pratiques, un fléau éclata contre eux.

Sal 106:30

Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

Fa nitsangana nandroso Finehasa ka nanao fitsarana; Dia nitsahatra ny areti-mandringana.

Nitsangana nanolotra fanonerana Finea, dia nitsahatra ny loza.

Alors se lève Pinhas, il tranche, alors s' arrête le fléau;

Sal 106:31

And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

Ary nisaina ho fahamarinany izany Hatramin' ny taranaka fara mandimby mandrakizay.

Notànana ho fahamarinana ho azy izany nataony izany, hatramin' ny taona mifandimby mandrakizay.

justice lui en est rendue d'âge en âge et pour toujours.

Sal 106:32

They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

Nampahatezitra an' i Jehovah teo anilan' ny ranon' i Meriba ireo, Ka nisy nanjo an' i Mosesy noho ny nataon' ireo;

Nampahatezitra an' ny Tompo izy ireo tao amin' ny ranon' i Meriba, ary nozoim-pahoriana noho ny nataon' izy ireo Moizy;

Ils le fâchèrent aux eaux de Meriba; mal en prit à Moïse par leur faute,

Sal 106:33

Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.

Fa niodina tamin' ny Fanahin' i Jehovah ireo, ka dia nihoa-bava Mosesy.

fa nampahasosotra ny fanahiny izy ireo, ka nahavoaka teny tsy voahevitra izy.

car ils aigrirent son esprit et ses lèvres parlèrent trop vite.

Sal 106:34

They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the Lord commanded them:

Tsy naringany ny firenena Izay nasain' i Jehovah naringany;

Tsy naringan' izy ireo ny firenena nasain' ny Tompo naringany.

Ils ne supprimèrent pas les peuples, ceux que Yahvé leur avait dits,

Sal 106:35

But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

Fa nifangaro tamin' ny jentilisa izy Ka nianatra ny fanaony,

Fa niharo tamin' ny firenena izy, nianatra ny asan' ireny.

et ils se mêlaient aux païens, ils apprenaient leurs manières d' agir.

Sal 106:36

And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

Dia nanompo ny sampiny izy, Ka dia nody fandrika ho azy izany.

Nanompo ny sampin' ireny, izay tonga fandrika ho azy.

Ils en servaient les idoles, elles devenaient pour eux un piège!

Sal 106:37

Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

Namono ny zananilahy sy ny zananivavy ho fanatitra ho an' ny demonia ireo;

Nataony sorona ho an' ny demony, ny zanany lahy aman-janany vavy.

Ils avaient sacrifié leurs fils et leurs filles aux démons.

Sal 106:38

And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

Eny, nandatsaka rà marina izy, Dia ny ran' ny zananilahy sy ny zananivavy, Izay novonoiny ho fanatitra ho an' ny sampin' i Kanana; Ka dia nametaveta ny tany tamin' ny rà izy.

Nandatsaka ny ra tsy manan-tsiny izy dia ny ran' ireo zanany lahy aman-janany vavy, nataony sorona tamin' ny sampin' i Kanaana, ka ny tany voaloton' ny vonoan' olona.

Ils versaient le sang innocent, le sang de leurs fils et de leurs filles qu' ils sacrifiaient aux idoles de Canaan, et le pays fut profané de sang.

Sal 106:39

Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

Ary naloto tamin' ny asany izy Ary nahatonga azy ho mijangajanga ny nataony.

Izy ireo nandoto tena tamin' ny asany, ary nitolo-tena tamin' andriamani-kafa.

Ils se souillaient par leurs actions, ils se prostituaient par leurs pratiques;

Sal 106:40

Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

Dia nirehitra tamin' ny olony ny fahatezeran' i Jehovah, Ka nataony ho zava-betaveta ny lovany.

Dia nirehitra tamin' ny vahoakany ny fahatezeran' ny Tompo, ary tonga tsy tiany mainty ny lovany.

Yahvé prit feu contre son peuple, il eut en horreur son héritage.

Sal 106:41

And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

Dia nanolotra azy teo an-tànan' ny jentilisa Izy, Ka izay nankahala azy no nanapaka azy.

Natolony ho eo an-tànan' ny firenena izy ireo, ka notapahin' ireo mankahala azy.

Il les livra aux mains des païens, leurs ennemis devinrent leurs maîtres;

Sal 106:42

Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

Ary nampahory azy ny fahavalony, Ka naetry tambanin' ny tànany izy.

Nampahorian' ny fahavalony izy, ary voaetry tambanin' ny tanan' ireny.

leurs adversaires furent leurs tyrans, ils furent courbés sous leur main.

Sal 106:43

Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

Matetika Izy no nahafaka azy; Fa ireo kosa niodina taminy ihany araka ny fisainany Ka nihalevona noho ny helony.

Nanafaka azy ireo matetika izy; nefa niodina nanaraka ny fisainany izy ireo; ka ny helony no nahaverezany ny tenany.

Mainte et mainte fois il les délivra, mais eux par bravade se révoltaient et s' enfonçaient dans leur tort;

Sal 106:44

Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

Kanefa nijery ny fahoriany ihany Izy. Raha nandre ny fitarainany;

Nijery ny fahorian' izy ireo anefa izy, nony nandre ny fitarainany.

il eut un regard pour leur détresse alors qu' il entendait leur cri.

Sal 106:45

And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

Dia nahatsiaro ny fanekeny Izy Ka nanenina araka ny haben' ny famindram-pony.

Notsarovany, hitsimbinana azy, ny fanekeny; namindra fo taminy araka ny hatsaram-pony lehibe izy;

Il se souvint pour eux de son alliance, il s'émut selon son grand amour;

Sal 106:46

He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.

Dia nataony nahita famindram-po ireny Tamin' izay rehetra namabo azy.

ary nataony nahita famindram-po aminy izy ireo, teo anatrehan' izay rehetra nitana azy ho babo.

il leur donna d' apitoyer tous ceux qui les tenaient captifs.

Sal 106:47

Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

Vonjeo izahay, ry Jehovah Andriamanitray ô, Ka angòny avy amin' ny jentilisa, Mba hisaoranay ny anaranao masina Sy hifalianay amin' ny fiderana Anao.

Vonjeo izahay, ry Iaveh, Andriamanitray, ka angony avy amin' ny firenena izahay, mba hankalazanay ny anaranao masina, ary hireharehanay amin' ny fiderana anao.

Sauve-nous, Yahvé notre Dieu, rassemble-nous du milieu des païens afin de rendre grâce à ton saint nom, de nous féliciter en ta louange.

Sal 106:48

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

Isaorana anie Jehovah Andriamanitry ny Isiraely, hatramin' ny taloha indrindra ka mandrakizay; Ary aoka ny olona rehetra hanao hoe: Amena! Haleloia.

Isaorana anie Iaveh Andriamanitr' Israely, hatramin' ny mandrakizay ka ho mandrakizay! Ary aoka ny vahoaka rehetra hilaza hoe: Amena! Aleloia!

Béni soit Yahvé le Dieu d' Israël depuis toujours jusqu'à toujours! Et tout le peuple dira : Amen!
