Cantique des montées. Heureux tous ceux qui craignent Yahvé et marchent dans ses voies!

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Fa hohaninao tokoa ny asan' ny tananao; Sambatra sady ambinina ianao.

Mihinana ny asan-tànanao hianao amin' izany, ka dia sambatra sy voky soa.

Du labeur de tes mains tu te nourriras, heur et bonheur pour toi!

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

Voilà de quels biens sera béni l' homme qui craint Yahvé.

Iaveh anie hanambina anao, avy ao Siona! Enga anie ka hahita an' i Jerosalema miadana tsara hianao, amin' ny andro rehetra hiainanao!

Que Yahvé te bénisse de Sion! Puisses-tu voir Jérusalem dans le bonheur tous les jours de ta vie,

Yea, thou shalt see thy children' s children, and peace upon Israel.

Eny, hahita ny zafinao anie ianao; Fiadanana anie ho amin' ny Isiraely.

Hahita ny zanaky ny zanakao anie hianao! Ho amin' Israely anie ny fiadanana!

et voir les fils de tes fils! Paix sur Israël!
