Sal 116:1

I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

Sal 116:3

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

Les lacets de la mort m' enserraient, les filets du shéol; l' angoisse et l' affliction me tenaient,

Sal 116:4

Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

Sal 116:5

Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

Mamindra fo sy marina Iaveh, miantra ny Andriamanitsika.

Yahvé a pitié, il est juste, notre Dieu est tendresse;

Sal 116:6

The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

Miaro ny kely saina Jehovah; Reraka aho, dia namonjy ahy Izy.

Miaro ny osa Iaveh; ory aho ka novonjeny.

Yahvé protège les simples, je faiblissais, il m' a sauvé.

Sal 116:7

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Ry fanahiko ô, miverena amin' ny fitsaharanao, fa Iaveh manototra soa anao.

Retourne, mon âme, à ton repos, car Yahvé t' a fait du bien.

Sal 116:8

For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

Il a gardé mon âme de la mort, mes yeux des larmes et mes pieds du faux pas

Sal 116:9

I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.

I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

I said in my haste, All men are liars.

Sal 116:12

What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?

Inona no havaliko an' ny Tompo, noho ny soa rehetra nataony tamiko?

Comment rendrai-je à Yahvé tout le bien qu' il m' a fait?

Sal 116:13

I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.

Handray ny kapoaky ny famonjena aho Ka hiantso ny anaran' i Jehovah.

Hanainga ny kopin' ny famonjena aho, ka hiantso ny anaran' ny Tompo.

J'élèverai la coupe du salut, j' appellerai le nom de Yahvé.

Sal 116:14

I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.

Hanefa ny voadiko amin' i Jehovah aho. Eny, eo anatrehan' ny olony rehetra.

Hanefa ny voadiko tamin' ny Tompo aho, eo anatrehan' ny vahoakany rehetra.

J' accomplirai mes voeux envers Yahvé, oui, devant tout son peuple!

Sal 116:15

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

Zava-dehibe eo imason' i Jehovah Ny fahafatesan' ny olony masina.

Zava-tsarobidy eo imason' ny Tompo ny fahafatesan' ny mpino azy.

Elle coûte aux yeux de Yahvé, la mort de ses amis.

Sal 116:16

O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

Indrisy! Jehovah ô, mpanomponao tokoa aho, Eny, mpanomponao sady zanaky ny ankizivavinao; Namaha ny fatorako Hianao.

De grâce, Yahvé, je suis ton serviteur, je suis ton serviteur fils de ta servante, tu as défait mes liens.

Sal 116:17

I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.
