Chapitres:

In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

Le troisième mois après leur sortie du pays d'Égypte, ce jour-là, les Israélites atteignirent le désert du Sinaï.

Eks 19:2

For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

Ary rehefa nifindra niala teo Refidima izy ka tonga tany amin' ny efitr' i Sinay, dia nitoby teo amin' ny efitra; dia tandrifin' ny tendrombohitra no nitobian' ny Isiraely teo.

Ils partirent de Rephidim et atteignirent le désert du Sinaï, et ils campèrent dans le désert ; Israël campa là, en face de la montagne.

Eks 19:3

And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

Moïse alors monta vers Dieu. Yahvé l' appela de la montagne et lui dit : " Tu parleras ainsi à la maison de Jacob, tu déclareras aux Israélites :

Eks 19:4

Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

Hianareo efa nahita izay nataoko tamin' ny Egyptiana sy izay nitondrako anareo tamin' ny elatry ny voromahery ary ny nampankanesako anareo ho atý amiko.

Hitanareo ny nataoko tamin' i Ejipta, sy ny nitondrako anareo tamin' ny ela-boromahery, ary ny nitarihako anareo ho aty amiko.

"Vous avez vu vous-mêmes ce que j' ai fait aux Égyptiens, et comment je vous ai emportés sur des ailes d' aigles et amenés vers moi.

Eks 19:5

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Maintenant, si vous écoutez ma voix et gardez mon alliance, je vous tiendrai pour mon bien propre parmi tous les peuples, car toute la terre est à moi.

Eks 19:6

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Dia ho fanjaka-mpisorona sy ho firenena masina ho Ahy ianareo. Ireo teny ireo no holazainao amin' ny Zanak' Isiraely.

Je vous tiendrai pour un royaume de prêtres, une nation sainte. " Voilà les paroles que tu diras aux Israélites. "

Eks 19:7

And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the Lord commanded him.

Dia nandeha Mosesy ka nampaka ny loholon' ny vahoaka, dia nalahany teo anatrehany ireo teny rehetra ireo, izay nandidian' i Jehovah azy.

Moïse alla et convoqua les anciens du peuple et leur exposa tout ce que Yahvé lui avait ordonné,

Eks 19:8

And all the people answered together, and said, All that the Lord hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the Lord.

Dia namaly indray miredona ny olona rehetra ka nanao hoe: Izay teny rehetra nolazain' i Jehovah dia hataonay. Ary dia nentin' i Mosesy tao amin' i Jehovah kosa ny tenin' ny olona.

Ka indray namaly ny vahoaka rehetra nanao hoe: Hataonay avokoa izay rehetra voalazan' ny Tompo. Dia lasa Moizy nitondra ny tenin' ny vahoaka tany amin' ny Tompo,

et le peuple entier, d' un commun accord, répondit : " Tout ce que Yahvé a dit, nous le ferons. " Moïse rapporta à Yahvé les paroles du peuple.

Eks 19:9

And the Lord said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the Lord.

Ary hoy Jehovah tamin' i Mosesy: Indro Aho mankeo aminao ao anatin' ny rahona maizina, mba ho ren' ny olona raha miteny aminao Aho, ka dia hino anao mandrakariva izy. Dia nambaran' i Mosesy tamin' i Jehovah ny tenin' ny olona.

ka hoy Iaveh tamin' i Moizy: Indro fa hankeo aminao ao anatin' ny rahona matevina aho, mba ho ren' ny olona rahefa miteny aminao aho, dia hinoany anao mandrakariva koa. Ary nolazain' i Moizy tamin' ny Tompo ny tenin' ny vahoaka.

Yahvé dit à Moïse : " Je vais venir à toi dans l'épaisseur de la nuée, afin que le peuple entende quand je parlerai avec toi et croie en toi pour toujours. " Et Moïse rapporta à Yahvé les paroles du peuple.

Eks 19:10

And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

Ary hoy Jehovah tamin' i Mosesy: Mandehana ho eny amin' ny olona, ka manamasina azy anio sy ampitso, ary ampanasao ny fitafiany izy:

Ary hoy Iaveh tamin' i Moizy: Mandehana mankany amin' ny vahoaka, ka hamasino izy anio sy ampitso, ary asaovy sasàny ny fitafiany.

Yahvé dit à Moïse : " Va trouver le peuple et fais-le se sanctifier aujourd' hui et demain ; qu' ils lavent leurs vêtements

Eks 19:11

And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

ary aoka samy hiomana ho amin' ny andro fahatelo izy; fa amin' ny andro fahatelo no hidinan' i Jehovah ho eo imason' ny olona rehetra eo an-tampon' ny tendrombohitra Sinay.

Aoka ho voaomana amin' ny andro fahatelo izy, fa hidina eo an-tampon' ny tendrombohitra Sinaia, eo imason' ny vahoaka rehetra Iaveh, amin' ny andro fahatelo.

et se tiennent prêts pour après-demain, car après-demain Yahvé descendra aux yeux de tout le peuple sur la montagne du Sinaï.

Eks 19:12

And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:

Dia hanisy fefy manodidina ho an' ny olona ianao ka hanao hoe: Mitandrema ianareo mba tsy hiakatra ao amin' ny tendrombohitra, na hikasika ny sisiny akory aza; fa na iza na iza mikasika ny tendrombohitra dia hatao maty tokoa;

Asio faritra manodidina ka lazao hoe: Tandremo mba tsy hiakatra ny tendrombohitra hianareo, na hikasika ny sisiny akory, fa hatao maty izay mikasika ny tendrombohitra, na iza na iza.

Puis délimite le pourtour de la montagne et dis : "Gardez-vous de gravir la montagne et même d' en toucher le bord. Quiconque touchera la montagne sera mis à mort.

Eks 19:13

There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.

tsy hisy tanana hikasika azy, fa hotoraham-bato tokoa izy, na hotifirina tokoa, na biby na olona, tsy mba hovelomina izy; fa raha manao feo lavareny ny anjomara, dia vao hiakatra ho ao amin' ny tendrombohitra izy.

Tsy hokasihin-tànana io, fa hotoraham-bato na hotrobarana ny zana-tsipika: na biby na olona izy tsy azo velomina. Rahefa maneno ny trompetra dia hiakatra ho eo an-tendrombohitra izy ireo.

Personne ne portera la main sur lui ; il sera lapidé ou percé de flèches, homme ou bête, il ne vivra pas. " Quand la corne de bélier mugira, eux graviront la montagne. "

Eks 19:14

And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

Dia nidina avy tao amin' ny tendrombohitra Mosesy ka nankeny amin' ny olona; dia nanamasina ny olona izy, ka samy nanasa ny fitafiany.

Dia nidina avy any an-tendrombohitra Moizy nankeo amin' ny vahoaka ka nanamasina azy, ary nanasa ny fitafiany izy ireo.

Moïse descendit de la montagne et vint trouver le peuple qu' il fit se sanctifier, et ils lavèrent leurs vêtements.

Eks 19:15

And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

Ary hoy izy tamin' ny olona: Miomàna ianareo ho amin' ny andro fahatelo; aza manakaiky vehivavy akory.

Nony vita izany dia hoy izy tamin' ny vahoaka: Aoka ho voaomana ao anatin' ny hateloana hianareo; aza mikasi-behivavy.

Puis il dit au peuple : " Tenez-vous prêts pour après-demain, ne vous approchez pas de la femme.

Eks 19:16

And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

Ary nony tamin' ny marain' ny andro fahatelo dia nisy kotrokorana sy helatra ary rahona matevina teo amin' ny tendrombohitra, ary nisy feon' anjomara mafy indrindra, dia toran-kovitra ny olona rehetra izay teo an-toby.

Nony marainan' ny andro fahatelo, dia nisy kotroka aman-tsela-baratra ary rahona matevina teo an-tendrombohitra, ary nisy feon' ny anjomara mafy nitatatata, ka tera-kovitra ny vahoaka rehetra tao an-toby.

Or le surlendemain, dès le matin, il y eut des coups de tonnerre, des éclairs et une épaisse nuée sur la montagne, ainsi qu' un très puissant son de trompe et, dans le camp, tout le peuple trembla.

Eks 19:17

And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

Ary Mosesy nitondra ny olona nivoaka avy teo an-toby mba hihaona amin' Andriamanitra; dia nijanona teo am-bodin' ny tendrombohitra izy.

Nentin' i Moizy nivoaka ny toby ny vahoaka, handeha hihaona amin' Andriamanitra; dia teo am-pototry ny tendrombohitra izy ireo no nijanona.

Moïse fit sortir le peuple du camp, à la rencontre de Dieu, et ils se tinrent au bas de la montagne.

Eks 19:18

And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

Ary ny tendrombohitra Sinay nivoa-tsetroka avokoa, satria Jehovah nidina teo amboniny tao anaty afo; dia niakatra ny setroka tahaka ny setroky ny lafaoro lehibe, ary nihorohoro mafy ny tendrombohitra Sinay rehetra.

Nivoa-tsetroka ny tendrombohitra Sinaia manontolo, satria tanaty afo no nidinan' ny Tompo nankeo amboniny, ka nipololotra toy ny avy amin' ny lafaoro lehibe ny setroka, ary nihovitrovitra iray ihany ny tendrombohitra manontolo.

Or la montagne du Sinaï était toute fumante, parce que Yahvé y était descendu dans le feu ; la fumée s' en élevait comme d' une fournaise et toute la montagne tremblait violemment.

Eks 19:19

And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

Ary rehefa notsofina ny anjomara ka nidradradradra, dia niteny Mosesy, ary Andriamanitra namaly feo azy.

Nihamafy nihamafy ihany ny feon' anjomara. Ary niteny Moizy, ka namaly feo azy Andriamanitra.

Le son de trompe allait en s' amplifiant ; Moïse parlait et Dieu lui répondait dans le tonnerre.

Eks 19:20

And the Lord came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the Lord called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

Ary Jehovah nidina nankeo an-tendrombohitra Sinay, dia teo an-tampon' ny tendrombohitra; ary Jehovah niantso an' i Mosesy hankeo an-tampon' ny tendrombohitra; dia niakatra Mosesy.

Nidina Iaveh nankeo an-tendrombohitra Sinaia, dia teo an-tampon' ny tendrombohitra izany; ary Iaveh niantso an' i Moizy ho ao an-tampon' ny tendrombohitra, dia niakatra Moizy.

Yahvé descendit sur la montagne du Sinaï, au sommet de la montagne. Yahvé appela Moïse au sommet de la montagne et Moïse monta.

Eks 19:21

And the Lord said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the Lord to gaze, and many of them perish.

Ary hoy Jehovah tamin' i Mosesy: Midìna, ka pepero ny olona, fandrao hisisika hankao amin' i Jehovah izy mba hijery ka hahafatesana maro.

Ary hoy Iaveh tamin' i Moizy: Midìna ka rarao mafy ny vahoaka tsy hihoatra ny faritra hankaty amin' ny Tompo mba hijery, fandrao hahafatesana maro izy.

Yahvé dit à Moïse : " Descends et avertis le peuple de ne pas franchir les limites pour venir voir Yahvé, car beaucoup d' entre eux périraient.

Eks 19:22

And let the priests also, which come near to the Lord, sanctify themselves, lest the Lord break forth upon them.

Ary aoka ny mpisorona koa, izay manakaiky an' i Jehovah, hanamasina ny tenany, fandrao himaona hamely azy Jehovah.

Na ny mpisorona manatona an' ny Tompo aza, aoka hanamasin-tena fandrao vonoin' ny Tompo.

Même les prêtres qui approchent Yahvé doivent se sanctifier de peur que Yahvé ne se déchaîne contre eux. "

Eks 19:23

And Moses said unto the Lord, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.

Ary hoy Mosesy tamin' i Jehovah: Tsy mahazo miakatra ho eto amin' ny tendrombohitra Sinay ny olona; fa Hianao nandidy anay ka nanao hoe: Fefeo ny tendrombohitra, ka hamasino izy.

Dia hoy Moizy tamin Íaveh: Tsy hahazo miakatra ny tendrombohitra Sinaia ny vahoaka, satria efa voararanao mafy izahay nilazanao hoe: Asio faritra manodidina ny tendrombohitra, ka hamasino izy.

Moïse dit à Yahvé : " Le peuple ne peut pas gravir la montagne du Sinaï puisque toi-même tu nous as avertis : délimite la montagne et déclare-la sacrée. "

Eks 19:24

And the Lord said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the Lord, lest he break forth upon them.

Ary hoy Jehovah taminy: Mandehana midina, nefa miakara ianao, ka ento hiaraka aminao Arona; fa ny mpisorona sy ny olona dia aza avela hisisika hiakatra ho ao amin' i Jehovah, fandrao haringana izy.

Ary hoy Iaveh taminy: Mandehana midina aloha, izay vao miakatra indray hianao miaraka amin' i Aarona: fa ny mpisorona sy ny vahoaka, aoka tsy hihoatra ny faritra hiakatra hankaty amin' ny Tompo fandrao vonoiny.

Yahvé reprit : " Allons, descends et remontez, toi et Aaron. Mais que les prêtres et le peuple ne franchissent pas les limites pour monter vers Yahvé, de peur qu' il ne se déchaîne contre eux. "

Eks 19:25

So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.

Ary Mosesy dia nidina nankeny amin' ny olona ka niteny taminy.

Dia nidina nankeo amin' ny vahoaka Moizy, nilaza izany.

Moïse descendit alors vers le peuple et lui dit:
