Gen / Jen 48:1

And it came to pass after these things, that one told Joseph, Behold, thy father is sick: and he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.

And one told Jacob, and said, Behold, thy son Joseph cometh unto thee: and Israel strengthened himself, and sat upon the bed.

Lorsqu' on eut annoncé à Jacob : Voici ton fils Joseph qui est venu auprès de toi, Israël rassembla ses forces et se mit assis sur le lit.

And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me,

And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.

And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.

And thy issue, which thou begettest after them, shall be thine, and shall be called after the name of their brethren in their inheritance.

Quant aux enfants que tu as engendrés après eux, ils seront tiens; ils porteront le nom de leurs frères pour l' héritage.

And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet there was but a little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is Bethlehem.

And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me in this place. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.

Ce sont les fils que Dieu m' a donnés ici, répondit Joseph à son père, et celui-ci reprit : Amène-les moi, que je les bénisse.

Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.

And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God hath shewed me also thy seed.

Gen / Jen 48:12

And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.

Ary Josefa nampiala azy mirahalahy teo anelanelan' ny lohalik' Isiraely, dia niankohoka tamin' ny tany izy.

Nesorin' i Josefa hiala teo anelanelan' ny lohali-drainy aloha izy mirahalahy, dia niankohoka tamin' ny tany teo anatrehany izy;

Alors Joseph les retira de son giron et se prosterna, la face contre terre.

Gen / Jen 48:13

And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel' s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel' s right hand, and brought them near unto him.

Dia notantanan' i Josefa izy mirahalahy: Efraima tamin' ny ankavanany ho eo amin' ny ankavian' Isiraely, ary Manase tamin' ny ankaviany ho eo amin' ny ankavanan' Isiraely, ka nentiny nanatona azy.

Joseph les prit tous deux, Éphraïm de sa main droite pour qu' il soit à la gauche d' Israël, Manassé de sa main gauche pour qu' il soit à la droite d' Israël, et il les fit approcher de celui-ci.

Gen / Jen 48:14

And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim' s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh' s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.

Mais Israël étendit sa main droite et la posa sur la tête d'Éphraïm, qui était le cadet, et sa main gauche sur la tête de Manassé, en croisant ses mains - en effet Manassé était l' aîné.

And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,

Il bénit ainsi Joseph : Que le Dieu devant qui ont marché mes pères Abraham et Isaac, que le Dieu qui fut mon pasteur depuis que je vis jusqu'à maintenant,

Gen / Jen 48:16

The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

ny Anjely Izay Mpamonjy ahy tamin' ny loza rehetra: Izy anie hitahy ireto zaza ireto; ary aoka ny anarako sy ny anaran' i Abrahama sy Isaka raiko no hanononana azy, ary hitombo ho maro dia maro eo amin' ny tany anie izy.

que l' Ange qui m' a sauvé de tout mal bénisse ces enfants, que survivent en eux mon nom et le nom de mes ancêtres, Abraham et Isaac, qu' ils croissent et multiplient sur la terre !

Gen / Jen 48:17

And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father' s hand, to remove it from Ephraim' s head unto Manasseh' s head.

Ary rehefa hitan' i Josefa fa ny rainy nametraka ny tànany ankavanana teo amin' ny lohan' i Efraima, dia tsy sitrany izany; ka noraisiny ny tanan' ny rainy, mba hampiala azy amin' ny lohan' i Efraima ho amin' ny lohan' i Manase,

Nony hitan' i Josefa fa napetra-drainy tamin' ny lohan' i Efraima ny tànany havanana, dia tsy sitrany izany, ka nalainy ny tanan-drainy hesoriny eo ambonin' ny lohan' i Efraima hatao eo amin' ny an' i Manase.

Cependant Joseph vit que son père mettait sa main droite sur la tête d'Éphraïm et cela lui déplut. Il saisit la main de son père pour la détourner de la tête d'Éphraïm sur la tête de Manassé,

Gen / Jen 48:18

And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.

ka hoy Josefa tamin' ny rainy: Tsy izao no izy, ry ikaky; fa ity no lahimatoa, ka apetraho eo amin' ny lohany ny tananao ankavanana.

Ary hoy Josefa tamin-drainy: Tsy izao no izy, ry ikaky, fa ity no lahimatoa ka apetraho eo amin' ny lohany ny tànanao havanana.

et Joseph dit à son père : Pas comme cela, père, car c' est celui-ci l' aîné : mets ta main droite sur sa tête.

Gen / Jen 48:19

And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.

Fa tsy nety ny rainy, fa nanao hoe: Fantatro ihany, anaka, fantatro ihany, izy koa ho tonga firenena, ary izy koa ho lehibe; kanefa ny zandriny ho lehibe noho izy, ary ny taranany ho firenena maro.

Mais son père refusa et dit : Je sais, mon fils, je sais : lui aussi deviendra un peuple, lui aussi sera grand. Pourtant, son cadet sera plus grand que lui, sa descendance deviendra une multitude de nations.

Gen / Jen 48:20

And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.

Dia nitso-drano azy tamin' izany andro izany izy ka nanao hoe: Hianao no hitsofan' ny Isiraely rano hoe: Hataon' Andriamanitra tahaka an' i Efraima sy tahaka an' i Manase anie ianao. Ary Efraima no nataony alohan' i Manase.

En ce jour-là, il les bénit ainsi : Soyez en bénédiction dans Israël et qu' on dise : Que Dieu te rende semblable à Éphraïm et à Manassé ! mettant ainsi Éphraïm avant Manassé.

Gen / Jen 48:21

And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers.

Ary hoy Isiraely tamin' i Josefa: Indro, ho faty aho, nefa Andriamanitra homba anareo ka hampody anareo indray ho any amin' ny tanindrazanareo.

Puis Israël dit à Joseph : Voici que je vais mourir, mais Dieu sera avec vous et vous ramènera au pays de vos pères.

Gen / Jen 48:22

Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.

Ary izaho manome anao zara-tany iray ho tombon-dahinao amin' ny rahalahinao, izay nalaiko tamin' ny sabatro sy ny tsipikako teo an-tànan' ny Amorita.

Ary omeko ho tombon-dahinao amin' ireo rahalahinao ny zaratany anankiray, izay nalaiko tamin' ny sabatro sy ny tsipikako, teo an-tànan' Amoreana.

Pour moi, je te donne un Sichem de plus qu'à tes frères, ce que j' ai conquis sur les Amorites par mon épée et par mon arc.
