Gen / Jen 28:1

And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

Isaac appela Jacob, il le bénit et lui fit ce commandement : Ne prends pas une femme parmi les filles de Canaan.

Gen / Jen 28:2

Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother' s father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughers of Laban thy mother' s brother.

Miainga ka mankanesa any Mesopotamia, any amin' ny tranon' i Betoela rain-dreninao; dia makà vady any, avy amin' ny zanakavavin' i Labana anadahin-dreninao.

Lève-toi ! Va en Padân-Aram chez Bétuel, le père de ta mère, et choisis-toi une femme de là-bas, parmi les filles de Laban, le frère de ta mère.

Gen / Jen 28:3

And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;

Ary Andriamanitra Tsitoha anie hitahy anao ka hahamaro fara anao sy hampitombo anao, mba ho tonga firenena maro ianao;

Hohasoavin' Andriamanitra mahefa ny zavatra rehetra anie hianao, ka hampitomboiny sy hohamaroiny, ho tonga firenena maro.

Qu' El Shaddaï te bénisse, qu' il te fasse fructifier et multiplier pour que tu deviennes une assemblée de peuples.

Gen / Jen 28:4

And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.

Homeny anao anie ny fanasoavana an' i Abrahama, dia ho anao sy ny taranakao, mba hanananao ny tany itoeranao, izay efa nomen' Andriamanitra an' i Abrahama.

Qu' il t' accorde, ainsi qu'à ta descendance, la bénédiction d' Abraham, pour que tu possèdes le pays dans lequel tu séjournes et que Dieu a donné à Abraham.

Gen / Jen 28:5

And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to Padanaram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob' s and Esau' s mother.

Ary Isaka nampandeha an' i Jakoba ka dia lasa izy nankany Mesopotamia, ho any amin' i Labana, zanak' i Betoela Syriana, anadahin-dRebeka, renin' i Jakoba sy Esao.

Isaac congédia Jacob et celui-ci partit en Paddân-Aram chez Laban, fils de Bétuel l' Araméen et frère de Rébecca, la mère de Jacob et d'Ésaü.

When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughers of Canaan;

Ésaü vit qu' Isaac avait béni Jacob et l' avait envoyé en Paddân-Aram pour y prendre femme, et qu' en le bénissant il lui avait fait ce commandement : Ne prends pas une femme parmi les filles de Canaan.

Gen / Jen 28:7

And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Padanaram;

Et Jacob avait obéi à son père et à sa mère et était parti en Paddân-Aram.

And Esau seeing that the daughters of Canaan pleased not Isaac his father;

Ésaü comprit que les filles de Canaan étaient mal vues de son père Isaac

Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham' s son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.

And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.

And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.

Il arriva d' aventure en un certain lieu et il y passa la nuit, car le soleil s'était couché. Il prit une des pierres du lieu, la mit sous sa tête et dormit en ce lieu.

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

Il eut un songe : Voilà qu' une échelle était dressée sur la terre et que son sommet atteignait le ciel, et des anges de Dieu y montaient et descendaient !

And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

Ary, indro, Jehovah niseho teo amboniny ka nanao hoe: Izaho no Jehovah, Andriamanitr' i Abrahama rainao sy Andriamanitr' Isaka; ny tany izay andrianao dia homeko anao sy ny taranakao;

Ary niseho tery ambony Iaveh ka nanao hoe: Izaho no Iaveh Andriamanitr' i Abrahama, rainao, sy Andriamanitr' Isaaka; io tany andrianao io, dia homeko anao sy ny taranakao.

Voilà que Yahvé se tenait devant lui et dit : Je suis Yahvé, le Dieu d' Abraham ton ancêtre et le Dieu d' Isaac. La terre sur laquelle tu es couché, je la donne à toi et à ta descendance.

Gen / Jen 28:14

And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Ta descendance deviendra nombreuse comme la poussière du sol, tu déborderas à l' occident et à l' orient, au septentrion et au midi, et tous les clans de la terre se béniront par toi et par ta descendance.

Gen / Jen 28:15

And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not.

Ary Jakoba nahatsiaro tamin' ny torimasony, dia nanao hoe: Ato amin' ity fitoerana ity tokoa Jehovah, fa izaho no tsy nahalala.

Nahatsiaro tamin' ny torimasony Jakoba, ka nanao hoe: Eto amin' ity toerana ity tokoa Iaveh, fa izaho tsy nahalala izany.

Jacob s'éveilla de son sommeil et dit : En vérité, Yahvé est en ce lieu et je ne le savais pas !

Gen / Jen 28:17

And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

Dia raiki-tahotra izy ka nanao hoe : Endrey, mahatahotra ity fitoerana ity! tsy hafa ity, fa tranon' Andriamanitra sy vavahadin' ny lanitra.

Dia raiki-tahotra izy, ka nanohy hoe: Endrey mahatahotra ity fitoerana ity! Eto tokoa ny tranon' Andriamanitra, eto no vavahadin' ny lanitra!

Il eut peur et dit : Que ce lieu est redoutable ! Ce n' est rien de moins qu' une maison de Dieu et la porte du ciel !

Gen / Jen 28:18

And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.

Ary nifoha maraina koa Jakoba, dia naka ilay vato izay nataony ondana ka nanorina azy ho tsangam-bato, dia nampidina diloilo teo aminy.

Levé de bon matin, il prit la pierre qui lui avait servi de chevet, il la dressa comme une stèle et répandit de l' huile sur son sommet.

And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first.

A ce lieu, il donna le nom de Béthel, mais auparavant la ville s' appelait Luz.

And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,

So that I come again to my father' s house in peace; then shall the Lord be my God:

si je reviens sain et sauf chez mon père, alors Yahvé sera mon Dieu

And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God' s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

et cette pierre que j' ai dressée comme une stèle sera une maison de Dieu, et de tout ce que tu me donneras je te payerai fidèlement la dîme.
