In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Au commencement, Dieu créa le ciel et la terre.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Ary ny tany dia tsy nisy endrika sady foana; ary aizina no tambonin' ny lalina. Ary ny fanahin' Andriamanitra nanomba tambonin' ny rano.

Or la terre était vide et vague, les ténèbres couvraient l' abîme, un vent de Dieu tournoyait sur les eaux.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Dieu dit : Que la lumière soit et la lumière fut.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara ny mazava; ary nampisarahin' Andriamanitra ny mazava sy ny maizina.

Ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara ny mazava. Nosarahin' Andriamanitra ny mazava sy ny aizina.

Dieu vit que la lumière était bonne, et Dieu sépara la lumière et les ténèbres.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Dieu appela la lumière jour et les ténèbres nuit . Il y eut un soir et il y eut un matin : premier jour.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

Ary Andriamanitra nanao hoe: Misia habakabaka eo anelanelan' ny rano; ary aoka hampisaraka ny rano amin' ny rano izy.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

Dieu fit le firmament, qui sépara les eaux qui sont sous le firmament d' avec les eaux qui sont au-dessus du firmament,

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Dieu dit : Que les eaux qui sont sous le ciel s' amassent en une seule masse et qu' apparaisse le continent et il en fut ainsi.

And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

Ary Andriamanitra nanao ny maina hoe tany; ary ny rano tafangona nataony hoe ranomasina. Ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara izany.

Nataon' Andriamanitra hoe tany, ny maina; ary nataony hoe, ranomasina, ny rano tafangona, ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara izany.

Dieu appela le continent terre et la masse des eaux mers, et Dieu vit que cela était bon.

Gen / Jen 1:11

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Ary Andriamanitra nanao hoe: Aoka ny tany haniry ahitra sy anana mamoa ary hazo fihinam-boa izay mamoa, samy araka ny karazany avy, ka manam-boa ao aminy, eny ambonin' ny tany; dia nisy izany.

Dieu dit : Que la terre verdisse de verdure : des herbes portant semence et des arbres fruitiers donnant sur la terre selon leur espèce des fruits contenant leur semence et il en fut ainsi.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Ary ny tany naniry ahitra sy anana mamoa samy araka ny karazany avy, ary hazo mamoa izay manam-boa ao aminy, samy araka ny karazany avy. Ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara izany.

Ary ny tany naniry ahitra maitso sy anana mamoa samy araka ny karazany avy, ary hazo mamoa misy ny voany ao aminy, samy araka ny karazany avy. Ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara izany.

La terre produisit de la verdure : des herbes portant semence selon leur espèce, des arbres donnant selon leur espèce des fruits contenant leur semence, et Dieu vit que cela était bon.

And the evening and the morning were the third day.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Ary Andriamanitra nanao hoe: Misia fahazavana eny amin' ny habakabaky ny lanitra hampisaraka ny andro sy ny alina; ary aoka ho famantarana sy ho fotoana ary ho andro sy taona ireo.

Hoy Andriamanitra: Misia fanazavana eo amin' ny habakabaky ny lanitra, mba hampisaraka ny andro sy ny alina; ary aoka izy ho famantarana, ka hanamarika ny fotoana, ny andro, ny taona;

Dieu dit : Qu' il y ait des luminaires au firmament du ciel pour séparer le jour et la nuit; qu' ils servent de signes, tant pour les fêtes que pour les jours et les années;

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

Ary aoka ho fanazavana eny amin' ny habakabaky ny lanitra izy hanazava eny ambonin' ny tany; dia nisy izany.

Gen / Jen 1:16

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Ary Andriamanitra nanao ny fanazavana roa lehibe, dia ny fanazavana lehibe ho mpanapaka ny andro ary ny fanazavana kely ho mpanapaka ny alina sy ny kintana.

Nanao ny fanazavana roa lehibe Andriamanitra; ny lehibebe kokoa hitarika ny andro, ny kelikely kokoa hitarika ny alina, ary nanao ny kintana koa.

Dieu fit les deux luminaires majeurs : le grand luminaire comme puissance du jour et le petit luminaire comme puissance de la nuit, et les étoiles.

Gen / Jen 1:17

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

Ary Andriamanitra nametraka azy teny amin' ny habakabaky ny lanitra hanazava eny ambonin' ny tany,

Napetrak' Andriamanitra eo amin' ny habakabaky ny lanitra ireo hanazava ny tany,

Dieu les plaça au firmament du ciel pour éclairer la terre,

Gen / Jen 1:18

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

sy ho mpanapaka ny andro sy ny alina, ary hampisaraka ny mazava sy ny maizina. Ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara izany.

And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Dia nisy hariva ary nisy maraina; izay no andro fahefatra.

Il y eut un soir et il y eut un matin : quatrième jour.

Gen / Jen 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Ary Andriamanitra nanao hoe: Aoka ny rano ho be zava-manan' aina; ary aoka hisy vorona hanidina ambonin' ny tany eny amin' ny habakabaky ny lanitra.

Dieu dit : Que les eaux grouillent d' un grouillement d'êtres vivants et que des oiseaux volent au-dessus de la terre contre le firmament du ciel et il en fut ainsi.

Gen / Jen 1:21

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Ary Andriamanitra nahary ny biby vaventy anaty rano sy ny zava-manan' aina mihetsiketsika rehetra, izay efa betsaka ao amin' ny rano, samy araka ny karazany avy, ary ny voro-manidina rehetra, samy araka ny karazany avy. Ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara izany.

Dia noharin' Andriamanitra ny biby vaventy anaty rano, sy ny zava-manana aina mihetsiketsika rehetra, mihelotrelotra anatin' ny rano, samy araka ny karazany avy, mbamin' ny voro-manidina manana elatra rehetra araka ny karazany avy. Ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara izany.

Dieu créa les grands serpents de mer et tous les êtres vivants qui glissent et qui grouillent dans les eaux selon leur espèce, et toute la gent ailée selon son espèce, et Dieu vit que cela était bon.

Gen / Jen 1:22

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Ary Andriamanitra nitso-drano azy hoe: Maroa anaka sy mihabetsaha ary mamenoa ny rano ao amin' ny ranomasina; ary aoka ny vorona hihamaro eny ambonin' ny tany.

Dia nitsodrano an' ireo Andriamanitra nanao hoe: Miteraha maro sy mitomboa ary mamenoa ny ranomasina; ary aoka ny vorona hihamaro eo ambonin' ny tany.

Dieu les bénit et dit : Soyez féconds, multipliez, emplissez l' eau des mers, et que les oiseaux multiplient sur la terre.

And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Dia nisy fa hariva, ary nisy maraina, andro fahadimy izany.

Il y eut un soir et il y eut un matin : cinquième jour.

Gen / Jen 1:24

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

Ary Andriamanitra nanao hoe: Aoka ny tany hamoaka zava-manan' aina samy araka ny karazany avy, dia biby fiompy sy biby mandady sy mikisaka ary bibi-dia, samy araka ny karazany avy; dia nisy izany.

Hoy Andriamanitra: Aoka ny tany hamoaka zava-manana aina, araka ny karazany avy, dia ny biby fiompy, ny biby mikisaka sy ny bibin' ny tany, araka ny karazany avy. Dia tanteraka izany.

Dieu dit : Que la terre produise des êtres vivants selon leur espèce : bestiaux, bestioles, bêtes sauvages selon leur espèce et il en fut ainsi.

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Ary Andriamanitra nanao ny bibi-dia, samy araka ny karazany avy, sy ny biby fiompy, samy araka ny karazany avy, ary ny biby rehetra izay mandady na mikisaka amin' ny tany, samy araka ny karazany avy. Ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara izany.

Nataon' Andriamanitra ny bibin' ny tany, araka ny karazany avy, sy ny biby fiompy araka ny karazany avy, mbamin' izay rehetra mikisaka amin' ny tany, araka ny karazany avy. Ary hitan' Andriamanitra fa tsara izany.

Dieu fit les bêtes sauvages selon leur espèce, les bestiaux selon leur espèce et toutes les bestioles du sol selon leur espèce, et Dieu vit que cela était bon.

Gen / Jen 1:26

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Ary Andriamanitra nanao hoe: Andeha Isika hamorona olona tahaka ny endritsika, araka ny tarehintsika ; ary aoka izy hanjaka amin' ny hazandrano ao amin' ny ranomasina sy ny voro-manidina sy ny biby fiompy sy ny tany rehetra ary ny biby rehetra izay mandady na mikisaka amin' ny tany.

Rehefa izany dia hoy Andriamanitra: Andeha isika hanao olona mitovy endrika amintsika, mifanahaka amintsika, ka aoka hanjakany avokoa ny hazandrano ao amin' ny ranomasina, ny voro-manidina eny amin' ny habakabaka, ny biby fiompy sy ny tany rehetra, ary ny biby mandady mikisaka amin' ny tany.

Dieu dit : Faisons l' homme à notre image, comme notre ressemblance, et qu' ils dominent sur les poissons de la mer, les oiseaux du ciel, les bestiaux, toutes les bêtes sauvages et toutes les bestioles qui rampent sur la terre.

Gen / Jen 1:27

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Ary Andriamanitra nahary ny olona tahaka ny endriny; tahaka ny endrik' Andriamanitra no namoronany azy; lahy sy vavy no namoronany azy.

Ary Andriamanitra nahary ny olona mitovy endrika aminy; mitovy endrika amin' Andriamanitra no nahariany azy, ary nataony lahy sy vavy izy ireo.

Dieu créa l' homme à son image, à l' image de Dieu il le créa, homme et femme il les créa.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Dieu les bénit et leur dit : Soyez féconds, multipliez, emplissez la terre et soumettez-la; dominez sur les poissons de la mer, les oiseaux du ciel et tous les animaux qui rampent sur la terre.

Gen / Jen 1:29

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Ary Andriamanitra nanao hoe: Indro, efa nomeko anareo ny anana manintsam-boa rehetra izay ambonin' ny tany rehetra ary ny hazo rehetra izay misy voa sady manintsam-boa; dia ho fihinana anareo ireny.

Ary hoy Andriamanitra: Indro omeko anareo ny anana mamoa rehetra eo ambonin' ny tany, mbamin' ny hazo rehetra misy voankazo manana ny voany ao aminy; izany no atao fihinanareo.

Dieu dit : Je vous donne toutes les herbes portant semence, qui sont sur toute la surface de la terre, et tous les arbres qui ont des fruits portant semence : ce sera votre nourriture.

Gen / Jen 1:30

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Ary ny amin' ny bibi-dia rehetra sy ny voro-manidina rehetra ary ny zava-manan' aina rehetra izay mandady na mikisaka amin' ny tany, dia efa nomeko azy ny zava-maitso rehetra ho fihinany; dia nisy izany.

Fa ho an' ny bibin' ny tany mbamin' ny voro-manidina sy izay rehetra mihetsiketsika eto ambonin' ny tany, ka manam-pofon' aina ao aminy, dia ny zava-maitso rehetra no omeko ho fihinany. Dia tanteraka izany.

A toutes les bêtes sauvages, à tous les oiseaux du ciel, à tout ce qui rampe sur la terre et qui est animé de vie, je donne pour nourriture toute la verdure des plantes et il en fut ainsi.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Ary hitan' Andriamanitra izay rehetra nataony, ary, indro, tsara indrindra izany. Dia nisy hariva, ary nisy maraina, andro fahenina izany.

Ary hitan' Andriamanitra izay rehetra nataony, ka tsara indrindra izany. Ary nisy hariva sy nisy maraina: izay no andro fahenina.

Dieu vit tout ce qu' il avait fait : cela était très bon. Il y eut un soir et il y eut un matin : sixième jour.
