When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;

Raha avy izay hahatafidiran' ny Tompo Andriamanitrao anao any amin' ny tany halehanao hakana azy ho fanananao, ary firenena maro no efa voaroakany eo anoloanao, ny Heteana, ny Gergeseana, ny Amoreana, ny Kananeana, ny Fereseana, ny Heveana, ary ny Jeboseana, ny firenena fito, maro isa sady mahery noho hianao,

Lorsque Yahvé ton Dieu t' aura fait entrer dans le pays dont tu vas prendre possession, des nations nombreuses tomberont devant toi : les Hittites, les Girgashites, les Amorites, les Cananéens, les Perizzites, les Hivvites et les Jébuséens, sept nations plus nombreuses et plus puissantes que toi.

And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

Yahvé ton Dieu te les livrera et tu les battras. Tu les dévoueras par anathème. Tu ne concluras pas d' alliance avec elles, tu ne leur feras pas grâce.

Deo / Dt 7:3

Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

ary aza mifanambady anaka aminy: ny zanakao-vavy tsy homenao ho vadin' ny zananilahy, ary ny zananivavy tsy halainao ho vadin' ny zanakao-lahy.

Aza maka vady amin' ireny; aza omena ho vadin' ny zanany lahy ny zanakao vavy, ary aza alaina ho vadin' ny zanakao lahy ny zanany vavy;

Tu ne contracteras pas de mariage avec elles, tu ne donneras pas ta fille à leur fils, ni ne prendras leur fille pour ton fils.

Deo / Dt 7:4

For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

Fa hampiala ny zanakao-lahy amin' ny fanarahana Ahy izy mba hanompoany andriamani-kafa, dia hirehitra aminareo ny fahatezeran' i Jehovah, ka handrifigana anao vetivety Izy.

fa havilin' ireny tsy hanaraka ahy ny zanakao lahy izay hanompo andriamani-kafa, ka hirehitra aminareo ny fahatezeran' ny Tompo, dia haringany vetivety hianao.

Car ton fils serait détourné de me suivre ; il servirait d' autres dieux ; et la colère de Yahvé s' enflammerait contre vous et il t' exterminerait promptement.

Deo / Dt 7:5

But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

Fa izao kosa no ataovinareo aminy: ny alitarany horavanao, ary ny tsangam-baton-tsampiny hovakivakinao; ny Aserahany hokapainao, ary ny sarin-javatra voasokitra hodoranao amin' ny afo.

Fa izao no ataovy amin' izy ireo: ravao ny oteliny, montsany ny tsangam-batony, kapao ny aserimany, ary doroy amin' ny afo ny sarin-javatra voasokiny;

Mais voici comment vous devrez agir à leur égard : vous démolirez leurs autels, vous briserez leurs stèles, vous couperez leurs pieux sacrés et vous brûlerez leurs idoles.

Deo / Dt 7:6

For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

Fa firenena masina ho an' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ianao; fa ianao efa nofidin' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ho firenena rakitra soa ho Azy mihoatra noho ny firenena rehetra ambonin' ny tany.

satria vahoaka masina ho an' ny Tompo Andriamanitrao hianao. Hianao no nofidin' ny Tompo Andriamanitrao mba ho vahoakany manokana eo amin' ny vahoaka hafa rehetra ambonin' ny tany.

Car tu es un peuple consacré à Yahvé ton Dieu ; c' est toi que Yahvé ton Dieu a choisi pour son peuple à lui, parmi toutes les nations qui sont sur la terre.

Deo / Dt 7:7

The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

Tsy ny hamaroanareo noho ny firenena rehetra anefa no niraiketan' ny fitiavan' i Jehovah taminareo sy nifidianany anareo, fa ianareo dia vitsy noho ny firenena rehetra aza;

Tsy noho hianareo mihoatra isa noho ny vahoaka rehetra anefa, no niraiketan' ny Tompo taminareo sy nifidianany anareo; vitsy noho ny vahoaka hafa rehetra aza hianareo;

Si Yahvé s' est attaché à vous et vous a choisis, ce n' est pas que vous soyez le plus nombreux de tous les peuples : car vous êtes le moins nombreux d' entre tous les peuples.

Deo / Dt 7:8

But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

fa ny nitiavan' i Jehovah anareo sy ny nitandremany ny fianianana izay efa nianianany tamin' ny razanareo no nitondran' i Jehovah anareo tamin' ny tanana mahery sy nanavotany anao tamin' ny trano nahandevozana dia tamin' ny tànan' i Farao, mpanjakan' i Egypta.

fa noho ny fitiavany anareo, sy noho ny fankatoavany ny fianianana nataony tamin' ny razanareo, dia nentin' ny Tompo nivoaka, tamin' ny tànana mahery, sy navotany tamin' ny trano fanandevozana hianareo, dia tamin' ny tànan' i Faraona mpanjakan' i Ejipta.

Mais c' est par amour pour vous et pour garder le serment juré à vos pères, que Yahvé vous a fait sortir à main forte et t' a délivré de la maison de servitude, du pouvoir de Pharaon, roi d'Égypte.

Deo / Dt 7:9

Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Koa aoka ho fantatrao fa Jehovah Andriamanitrao ihany no Andriamanitra, dia Andriamanitra mahatoky, Izay mitandrina fanekena sy famindram-po amin' izay tia Azy sy mitandrina ny didiny, hatramin' ny taranaka arivo mandimby,

Koa aoka ho fantatrao àry fa Iaveh Andriamanitrao no Andriamanitra, dia Andriamanitra tsy mivadika, fa maharitra amin' ny fanekena amam-pamindram-po, hatramin' ny taranaka faharivo amin' izay tia azy sy mitandrina ny didiny.

Tu sauras donc que Yahvé ton Dieu est le vrai Dieu, le Dieu fidèle qui garde son alliance et son amour pour mille générations à ceux qui l' aiment et gardent ses commandements,

Deo / Dt 7:10

And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

Fa mamaly an-kitsirano kosa an' izay mankahala azy, amin' ny fandringanana azy; tsy hitaredretra akory izy ny amin' izay mankahala azy, fa hovaliany ankitsirano izao.

mais qui punit en leur propre personne ceux qui le haïssent. Il fait périr sans délai celui qui le hait, et c' est en sa propre personne qu' il le punit.

Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.

Koa tandremo ny lalàna sy ny didy ary ny fitsipika, izay andidiako anao anio, ka araho izy.

Koa tandremo ny didy sy ny lalàna amam-pitsìpika andidiako anao anio, ka tanteraho izany.

Tu garderas donc les commandements, lois et coutumes que je te prescris aujourd' hui de mettre en pratique.

Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

Ary raha mihaino ireo fitsipika ireo ianareo ka mitandrina sy manaraka azy, dia hotanterahin' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao aminao ny fanekena sy ny famindram-po, izay nianianany tamin' ny razanao;

Raha mihaino ireo fitsìpika ireo hianareo ka mitandrina sy manaraka izany, dia hotanterahin' ny Tompo Andriamanitrao aminao kosa, ny fanekena amam-pamindram-po efa nianianany tamin' ny razanao.

Pour avoir écouté ces coutumes, les avoir gardées et mises en pratique, Yahvé ton Dieu te gardera l' alliance et l' amour qu' il a jurés à tes pères.

Deo / Dt 7:13

And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

dia ho tia anao sy hitahy anao ary hahamaro anao Izy; ary Izy hitahy ny ateraky ny kibonao sy ny vokatry ny taninao, dia ny varinao sy ny ranom-boalobokao sy ny diloilonao, ary ny ateraky ny ombinao sy ny ateraky ny ondry aman' osinao any amin' ny tany izay nianianany tamin' ny razanao homena anao.

Ho tiany sy hosoaviny ary hampitomboiny hianao, hosoaviny ny naterakao sy ny vokatry ny taninao koa, dia ny varinao, ny ranom-boalobokao vaovao, ny diloilonao, ny terak' ombinao, ny zanak' ondrinao, any amin' ny tany nianianany tamin' ny razanao homena anao.

Il t' aimera, te bénira, te multipliera ; il bénira le fruit de ton sein et le fruit de ton sol, ton blé, ton vin nouveau, ton huile, la portée de tes vaches et le croît de tes brebis, sur la terre qu' il a juré à tes pères de te donner.

Deo / Dt 7:14

Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.

Hotahina ianao mihoatra noho ny firenena rehetra; tsy hisy lahy na vavy tsy hiteraka, na ianareo na ny biby fiompinareo.

Hohasoavina mihoatra noho ny firenena rehetra hianao, tsy hisy momba aminao, na lahy na vavy, na amin' ny biby fiompinao.

Tu recevras plus de bénédictions que tous les peuples. Nul chez toi, homme ou femme, ne sera stérile, nul mâle ou femelle de ton bétail.

Deo / Dt 7:15

And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Ary harovan' i Jehovah tsy ho azon' aretina ianao, ka tsy hisy hameliny anao ny aretin-dratsin' i Egypta, izay fantatrao; fa hataony amin' izay rehetra mankahala anao kosa ireny.

Hampanalavirin' ny Tompo anao ny aretina rehetra, ary tsy hisy halefany aminao akory ny areti-mandoza nanjo an' i Ejipta izay fantatrao; fa izay rehetra mankahala anao no hampahoriny amin' ireny.

Yahvé détournera de toi toute maladie ; il ne t' infligera pas ces méchants maux d'Égypte que tu as connus, mais il les enverra à tous ceux qui te haïssent.

Deo / Dt 7:16

And thou shalt consume all the people which the Lord thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.

Ary aoka holaninao ny firenena rehetra, izay hatolotr' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao, ka aoka tsy hiantra azy ny masonao; ary aza manompo ny andriamaniny, fa ho fandrika aminao ireny.

Levòny ny vahoaka rehetra hatolotry ny Tompo Andriamanitrao anao; aza miantra azy ny masonao; ary aza manompo izay andriamaniny, fa ho fandrika ho anao izany.

Tu dévoreras donc tous ces peuples que Yahvé ton Dieu te livre, ton oeil sera sans pitié et tu ne serviras pas leurs dieux : car tu y serais pris au piège.

Deo / Dt 7:17

If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?

Raha ianao hanao anakampo hoe: Maro noho izaho ireo firenena ireo, ka hataoko ahoana no fahay mandroaka azy?

Ary raha hoy hianao anakampo hoe: Firenena maro noho izaho ireo, ka hataoko ahoana no fandroaka azy?

Peut-être vas-tu dire en ton coeur : " Ces nations sont plus nombreuses que moi, comment pourrais-je les déposséder ? "

Deo / Dt 7:18

Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the Lord thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt;

dia aza matahotra azy ianao; fa tsarovy tsara izay nataon' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao tamin' i Farao sy ny Egyptiana rehetra,

Ne les crains pas : rappelle-toi donc ce que Yahvé ton Dieu a fait à Pharaon et à toute l'Égypte,

The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the Lord thy God brought thee out: so shall the Lord thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid.

dia ny fizahan-toetra lehibe, izay efa hitan' ny masonao, sy ny famantarana sy ny fahagagana sy ny tanana mahery ary ny sandry nahinjitra, izay nitondran' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao nivoaka; fa toy izany no hataon' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao amin' ny firenena rehetra izay atahoranao.

Masonao no nahita ny fampahoriana lehibe, ny fahagagana sy ny zavatra mahatalanjona, ny tànana mahery aman-tsandry ahinjitra izay nampivoahan' ny Tompo Andriamanitrao anao; toy izany no hataon' ny Tompo Andriamanitrao amin' ny vahoaka rehetra atahoranao.

les grandes épreuves que tes yeux ont vues, les signes et les prodiges, la main forte et le bras étendu par lesquels Yahvé ton Dieu t' a fait sortir. Ainsi fera Yahvé ton Dieu contre tous les peuples devant qui tu as peur.

Deo / Dt 7:20

Moreover the Lord thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed.

Ary ny fanenitra koa dia hampandehanin' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ho eo aminy mandra-paharingan' izay sisa sy izay efa niery ka tsy hitanao.

Fa na hisy ho afa-mandositra hiery tsy ho hitanao aza, dia handefasan' ny Tompo Andriamanitrao fanenitra hamely azy mandra-paharingany.

De plus, Yahvé ton Dieu enverra des frelons pour anéantir ceux qui seraient restés et se seraient cachés devant toi.

Deo / Dt 7:21

Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.

Aza matahotra azy ianao; fa Jehovah Andriamanitrao no eo aminao, dia Andriamanitra lehibe sy mahatahotra.

Aza mivadi-po amin' izy ireo, fa eo afovoanao Iaveh Andriamanitrao, Andriamanitra lehibe sy mahatahotra.

Ne tremble donc pas devant eux, car au milieu de toi est Yahvé ton Dieu, Dieu grand et redoutable.

Deo / Dt 7:22

And the Lord thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

Ary horoahin' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao eo alohanao tsikelikely ireny firenena ireny; tsy haharoaka azy faingana ianao, fandrao hihamaro ny bibi-dia ka hamely anao.

Horoahin' ny Tompo Andriamanitrao tsikelikely eo anatrehanao ireo firenena ireo; tsy ho azonao ringanina vetivety izy, fandrao dia mihamaro ny biby dia, ka hamely anao.

C' est peu à peu que Yahvé ton Dieu détruira ces nations devant toi ; tu ne pourras les exterminer sur-le-champ, de peur que les bêtes sauvages ne se multiplient à ton détriment,

Deo / Dt 7:23

But the Lord thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.

Fa hatolotr' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao eo anoloanao izy ka hataony mifanaritaka be ihany mandra-pahalany ritrany.

Hatolotry ny Tompo Andriamanitrao anao izy; ary hataony mivarahontsana foana, mandra-pahalany ringana azy.

mais Yahvé ton Dieu te les livrera, et elles resteront en proie à de grands troubles jusqu'à ce qu' elles soient détruites.

Deo / Dt 7:24

And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.

Dia hatolony eo an-tananao koa ny mpanjakany, ka ho foananao tsy ho re intsony atý ambanin' ny lanitra ny anarany; tsy hisy olona hahajanona eo anoloanao, fa haringanao avokoa izy mandra-pahalaniny.

Hatolony eo an-tànanao ny mpanjakan' izy ireo, ary ho foananao aty ambanin' ny lanitra ny anaran' ireny. Tsy hisy olona hahatohitra anao mandra-paharinganao azy.

Il livrera leurs rois en ton pouvoir et tu effaceras leur nom de dessous les cieux : nul ne tiendra devant toi, jusqu'à ce que tu les aies exterminés.

Deo / Dt 7:25

The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therin: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God.

Ny sarin-javatra voasokitra, izay andriamaniny, dia hodoranareo amin' ny afo; aza mitsiriritra ny volafotsy na ny volamena izay eo aminy, na maka izany ho anao, fandrao ho voafandriny ianao, fa fahavetavetana eo imason' i Jehovah Andriamanitrao izany.

Dory amin' ny afo ny sarin' ny andriamaniny voasokitra; aza mitsiriritra izay volafotsy na volamena eny aminy, na maka izany ho anao, fandrao ho fandrika ho anao izany, fa fahavetavetana eo imason' ny Tompo Andiramanitrao izany.

Vous brûlerez les images sculptées de leurs dieux, et tu n' iras pas convoiter l' or et l' argent qui les recouvrent. Si tu t' en emparais, tu serais pris au piège ; car c' est là chose abominable à Yahvé ton Dieu.

Deo / Dt 7:26

Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.

Ary aza mitondra fahavetavetana ho ao an-tranonao, fandrao ho voaozona tahaka izany koa ianao; ho halanao sy ho fahavetavetana eo imasonao indrindra izany, fa zavatra voaozona.

Ka aza mampiditra fahavetavetana ao an-tranonao, fandrao dia voaozona ho anatema toa azy koa hianao; aoka ho zavatra halanao indrindra, ho zava-betaveta indrindra aminao izany, fa zava-boaozona ho anatema.

Tu n' introduiras pas dans ta maison une chose abominable, de peur de devenir anathème comme elle. Tu les tiendras pour immondes et abominables, car elles sont anathèmes.
