Jer / Jr 20:1

Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the Lord, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.

Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the Lord.

Pashehur frappa le prophète Jérémie, puis le mit au carcan, à la porte haute de Benjamin, celle qui donne dans le Temple de Yahvé.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The Lord hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib.

Le lendemain, Pashehur fit tirer Jérémie du carcan. Alors Jérémie lui dit : "Ce n' est plus Pashehur que Yahvé t' appelle, mais Terreur-de-tous-côtés.

For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.

Satria izao no lazain' ny Tompo: Indro atolotro ho amin' ny fangorohoroana, hianao sy ny sakaizanao. Izy ireo ho lavon' ny sabatry ny fahavalony, ary hianao hahita maso an' izany. Jodà rehetra koa hatolotro ho eo an-tànan' ny mpanjakan' i Babilona, ka hoentiny babo any Babilona izy ireo, ary hovonoiny amin' ny sabatra.

Car ainsi parle Yahvé : Voici que je vais te livrer à la terreur, toi et tous tes amis; ils tomberont sous l'épée de leurs ennemis : tes yeux verront cela! De même Juda tout entier, je le livrerai aux mains du roi de Babylone qui déportera les gens à Babylone et les frappera de l'épée.

Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.

Ary ny harena rehetra amin' ity tanàna ity sy ny vokatry ny fisasarany rehetra sy ny zava-tsoany rehetra ary ny rakitry ny mpanjakan' ny Joda rehetra dia samy hatolotro eo an-tànan' ny fahavalony, ka dia hamabo sy haka azy ireny ary hitondra azy ho any Babylona.

Hatolotro avokoa ny harena amin' ity tanàna ity, ny vokany rehetra aman-java-tsoany rehetra, ary ny rakitra rehetra an' ny mpanjakan' i Jodà, hatolotro ho eo an-tànan' ny fahavalony; ka hobaboiny, halainy, hoentiny mankany Babilona.

Je livrerai encore toutes les richesses de cette ville, toutes ses réserves, tout ce qu' elle a de précieux, tous les trésors des rois de Juda, je les livrerai aux mains de leurs ennemis qui les pilleront, les enlèveront et les emporteront à Babylone.

And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied lies.

Ary hianao, ry Fasora, mbamin' izay rehetra mitoetra ao an-tranonao, ho lasan-ko babo hianareo; ho any Babilona hianao; ka any no hahafatesanao; any no handevenana anao, dia hianao mbamin' ny sakaizanao rehetra, izay naminanianao lainga.

Et toi, Pashehur, ainsi que tous les hôtes de ta maison, vous partirez en captivité; à Babylone tu iras, là tu mourras, là tu seras enterré, toi et tous tes amis à qui tu as prophétisé le mensonge."

O Lord, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived; thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.

Jehovah ô, notaominao aho ka voataona; Nosamborinao aho ka resinao; Tonga fihomehezana mandritra ny andro aho; Izy rehetra dia maneso ahy.

Tu m' as séduit, Yahvé, et je me suis laissé séduire; tu m' as maîtrisé, tu as été le plus fort. Je suis prétexte continuel à la moquerie, la fable de tout le monde.

Jer / Jr 20:8

For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the Lord was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.

Chaque fois que j' ai à parler, je dois crier et proclamer : "Violence et dévastation!" La parole de Yahvé a été pour moi source d' opprobre et de moquerie tout le jour.

Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

Je me disais : Je ne penserai plus à lui, je ne parlerai plus en son Nom; mais c'était en mon coeur comme un feu dévorant, enfermé dans mes os. Je m'épuisais à le contenir, mais je n' ai pas pu.

For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

J' entendais les calomnies de beaucoup "Terreur de tous côtés! Dénoncez! Dénonçons-le!" Tous ceux qui étaient en paix avec moi guettaient ma chute "Peut-être se laissera-t-il séduire? Nous serons plus forts que lui et tirerons vengeance de lui!"

But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

Mais Yahvé est avec moi comme un héros puissant; mes adversaires vont trébucher, vaincus les voilà tout confus de leur échec; honte éternelle, inoubliable.

Jer / Jr 20:12

But, O Lord of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

Fa Hianao, Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro ô, Izay mamantatra ny marina ka mizaha toetra ny voa sy ny fo ho hitako ny famalianao azy, fa aminao no efa nanankinako ny adiko.

Ry Iavehn' ny tafika, hianao izay mizaha toetra ny marina, izay mahita ny voa sy ny fo, hahita ny famalianao an' ireo aho, fa hianao no nanankinako ny adiko.

Yahvé Sabaot, qui scrutes le juste et vois les reins et le coeur, je verrai la vengeance que tu tireras d' eux, car c' est à toi que j' ai exposé ma cause.

Jer / Jr 20:13

Sing unto the Lord, praise ye the Lord: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

Mihirà ho an' i Jehovah, miderà an' i Jehovah; Fa Izy namonjy ny fanahin' ny malahelo tamin' ny tanan' ny mpanao ratsy.

Mihirà ho an' ny Tompo, miderà an' ny Tompo, fa manafaka ny fanahin' ny ory, amin' ny tànan' ny ratsy fanahy izy.

Chantez Yahvé, louez Yahvé, car il a délivré l'âme du malheureux de la main des malfaisants.

Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.

Ho voaozona anie ny andro izay nahaterahako! Aoka tsy hotahina anie ny andro izay niterahan' ineny ahy!

Ho voaozona anie ny andro nahaterahako! Tsy hotahina anie ny andro niterahan' i neny ahy!

Maudit soit le jour où je suis né! Le jour où ma mère m' enfanta, qu' il ne soit pas béni!

Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad.

Ho voaozona anie ny olona izay nitondra teny mahafaly tamin' ikaky nanao hoe: Tera-dahy ianao! Ka nahafaly azy indrindra.

Ho voaozona anie ny olona nitondra teny tamin' ikaky, sy nanao hoe: Tera-dahy hianao! ka nahafeno hafaliana azy!

Maudit soit l' homme qui annonça à mon père cette nouvelle "Un fils, un garçon t' est né!" et le combla de joie.

And let that man be as the cities which the Lord overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide;

Que cet homme soit pareil aux villes que Yahvé a renversées sans pitié; qu' il entende le cri d' alarme au matin et le cri de guerre en plein midi,

Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.

Satria tsy nahafaty ahy tany an-kibo izy, hahatonga an' Ineny ho fasako, ka hivesatra ahy mandrakariva ny kibony.

noho izy tsy namono ahy hatrany am-bohoka, hahatonga an' i neny ho fasako, na ho voatana ao an-kibony mandrakizay aho!

car il ne m' a pas fait mourir dès le sein, pour que ma mère soit un tombeau et que ses entrailles me portent à jamais.

Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?

Nahoana aho no nivoaka avy ao an-kibony, hahita fijaliana amam-pahoriana, sy handany ny androko amin' ny fahafaham-baraka!

Pourquoi donc suis-je sorti du sein? Pour voir tourment et peine et finir mes jours dans la honte.
