And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.

Lorsque la mère d' Ochozias, Athalie, eut appris que son fils était mort, elle entreprit d' exterminer toute la descendance royale.

2Mp 11:2

But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king' s sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.

Mais Yehoshéba fille du roi Joram et soeur d' Ochozias, retira furtivement Joas, son neveu, du groupe des fils du roi qu' on massacrait et elle le mit, avec sa nourrice, dans la chambre des lits; elle le déroba ainsi à Athalie et il ne fut pas mis à mort.

And he was with her hid in the house of the Lord six years. And Athaliah did reign over the land.

And the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the rulers over hundreds, with the captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the Lord, and made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of the Lord, and shewed them the king' s son.

La septième année, Yehoyada envoya chercher les centeniers des Cariens et des gardes, et les fit venir auprès de lui, dans le Temple de Yahvé. Il conclut un pacte avec eux, leur fit prêter serment et leur montra le fils du roi.

And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king' s house;

Il leur donna cet ordre : "Voici ce que vous allez faire : le tiers d' entre vous, la garde descendante du jour du sabbat, qui prend la faction au palais royal,

2Mp 11:6

And a third part shall be at the gate of Sur; and a third part at the gate behind the guard: so shall ye keep the watch of the house, that it be not broken down.

2Mp 11:7

And two parts of all you that go forth on the sabbath, even they shall keep the watch of the house of the Lord about the king.

2Mp 11:8

And ye shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be slain: and be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in.

Ary hanemitra manodidina ny mpanjaka ianareo, samy mitana ny fiadiany avy; ka na iza na iza mamaky laharana dia vonoy, ary arahonareo ny mpanjaka, na mivoaka na miditra izy.

2Mp 11:9

And the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.

Les centeniers firent tout ce que leur avait ordonné le prêtre Yehoyada. Ils prirent chacun leurs hommes, la garde descendante du jour du sabbat en même temps que la garde montante du jour du sabbat, et vinrent auprès du prêtre Yehoyada.

2Mp 11:10

And to the captains over hundreds did the priest give king David' s spears and shields, that were in the temple of the Lord.

Ary ny kapiteny nomen' ilay mpisorona ny lefona sy ampingan' i Davida mpanjaka izay tao an-tranon' i Jehovah.

Natolotry ny mpisorona ny tompon-jato ny lefona aman' ampinga izay an' i Davida mpanjaka, sy nipetraka tao an-tranon' ny Tompo.

Le prêtre donna aux centeniers les lances et les boucliers du roi David, qui étaient dans le Temple de Yahvé.

2Mp 11:11

And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, along by the altar and the temple.

Ary ny mpiambina nitsangana, ka samy nitana ny fiadiany avy hanodidina ny mpanjaka hatramin' ny lafiny ankavanan' ny trano ka hatramin' ny lafiny ankavia, hatramin' ny alitara ka hatramin' ny trano.

Samy nitam-piadiana ny mpihazakazaka dia nilahatra hatramin' ny lafin-trano ao an-kavanana, ka hatramin' ny lafiny havia, akaikin' ny otely, sy ny akaikin' ny trano, any ka voahodidiny ny mpanjaka.

Les gardes se rangèrent, leurs armes à la main, depuis l' angle sud jusqu'à l' angle nord du Temple, entourant l' autel et le Temple.

2Mp 11:12

And he brought forth the king' s son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king.

Dia nentin' i Joiada nivoaka ny zanakalahin' ny mpanjaka ka nosatrohany ny satro-boninahitra izy, dia notolorany ny Vavolombelona; ka dia nampanjakainy sy nohosorany izy, ary ny olona nitehaka ka niantso hoe: Ho ela velona anie ny mpanjaka!

Naroson' ny mpisorona ny zanaky ny mpanjaka, ka nataony teo aminy ny diadema sy ny vavolombelona. Natsangany ho mpanjaka izy, ary nohosorany, ka sady nitehaka ny olona no niantso hoe: Ho ela velona anie ny mpanjaka!

Alors Yehoyada fit sortir le fils du roi, il lui imposa le diadème et lui remit le document de l' alliance; on le fit roi et on lui donna l' onction. On battit des mains et on cria "Vive le roi!"

2Mp 11:13

And when Athaliah heard the noise of the guard and of the people, she came to the people into the temple of the Lord.

Ary nony ren' i Atalia ny tabataban' ny mpiambina sy ny vahoaka, dia mba nankao amin' ny vahoaka tao amin' ny tranon' i Jehovah izy.

Nony nandre ny fihahohahon' ny mpihazakazaka sy ny vahoaka Atalia dia nankao amin' ny vahoaka izy, ao an-tranon' ny Tompo.

Entendant la clameur populaire, Athalie se rendit vers le peuple au Temple de Yahvé.

2Mp 11:14

And when she looked, behold, the king stood by a pillar, as the manner was, and the princes and the trumpeters by the king, and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets: and Athaliah rent her clothes, and cried, Treason, Treason.

Ary hitany fa, indro, ny mpanjaka nitsangana teo amin' ny fitoeran' andriana toy ny fanao, ary ny andrian-dahy sy ny mpitsoka trompetra dia teo anilan' ny mpanjaka; ary ny vahoaka rehetra nifaly sady nampaneno ny trompetra; dia nandriatra ny fitafiany Atalia ka niantso hoe: Fikomiana! fikomiana!

Nijery izy ka inty ny mpanjaka mipetraka eo amin' ny lapihazo araka ny fanao. Teo anilan' ny mpanjaka ny lehibe sy ny mpitsoka trompetra, ary faly ny vahoaka rehetra, ary nitsoka trompetra ny olona. Dia nandriatra ny fitafiany Atalia, ka niantso hoe: Teti-dratsy! Teti-dratsy!

Quand elle vit le roi debout sur l' estrade, selon l' usage, les chefs et les trompettes près du roi, tout le peuple du pays exultant de joie et sonnant de la trompette, Athalie déchira ses vêtements et cria : "Trahison! Trahison!"

2Mp 11:15

But Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds, the officers of the host, and said unto them, Have her forth without the ranges: and him that followeth her kill with the sword. For the priest had said, Let her not be slain in the house of the Lord.

Fa Joiada mpisorona nandidy ny kapiteny, mpifehy ny miaramila, ka nanao taminy hoe: Avoahy eny ivelan' ny laharana izy, ary izay manaraka azy dia vonoy amin' ny sabatra. Fa ny mpisorona efa nandrara hoe Aza vonoina ao an-tranon' i Jehovah izy.

Tamin' izay Joiada mpisorona nanome didy ny tompon-jato mpifehy ny foloalindahy ary nilaza taminy hoe: Ento izy eo anelanelan' ny laharanareo hivoaka ny trano, ary vonoy amin' ny sabatra izay manaraka azy na iza na iza. Satria ny mpisorona efa nilaza hoe: Aza vonoina eto an-tranon' ny Tompo izy.

Alors le prêtre Yehoyada donna un ordre aux commandants de la troupe : "Faites-la sortir entre les rangs, leur dit-il, et si quelqu' un la suit, qu' on le passe au fil de l'épée"; car le prêtre s'était dit : "Il ne faut pas qu' elle soit tuée dans le Temple de Yahvé."

2Mp 11:16

And they laid hands on her; and she went by the way by the which the horses came into the king' s house: and there was she slain.

Ary ny olona nisava teo an-daniny roa, dia nandeha tamin' ny lalana fandehanan' ny soavaly ho any an-tranon' ny mpanjaka ravehivavy; dia novonoiny tao izy.

Ils mirent la main sur elle et, quand elle arriva au palais royal par l' Entrée des Chevaux, là elle fut mise à mort.

2Mp 11:17

And Jehoiada made a covenant between the Lord and the king and the people, that they should be the Lord' s people; between the king also and the people.

Ary Joiada nampanao fanekena ny mpanjaka sy ny vahoaka tamin' i Jehovah, mba ho olon' i Jehovah izy, ary nampifanaiky ny mpanjaka sy ny vahoaka koa.

Nampanaovin' i Joiada fanekena tamin' ny Tompo sy ny mpanjaka ary ny vahoaka, ny tsy maintsy haha-vahoakan' ny Tompo azy ireo. Ary nampanaoviny fanekena koa ny mpanjaka sy ny vahoaka.

Yehoyada conclut entre Yahvé, le roi et le peuple l' alliance par laquelle celui-ci s' obligeait à être le peuple de Yahvé; de même entre le roi et le peuple.

2Mp 11:18

And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the Lord.

Ary ny vahoaka rehetra niditra tao an-tranon' i Bala ka nandrava azy; ny alitara sy ny endri-javatra teo aminy dia notorotoroiny avokoa, ary Matana, mpisoron' i Bala, novonoiny teo anoloan' ny alitara. Ary ny mpisorona nanendry ny ho mpitandrina ny tranon' i Jehovah.

Ny vahoaka rehetra tamin' ny tany dia niditra tao amin' ny tranon' i Baala ka noravany; ny otely aman-tsary nomontsaniny, ary Matana mpisoron' i Baala novonoiny teo anoloan' ny otely. Nony nametraka mpiambina tao amin' ny tranon' ny Tompo

Tout le peuple du pays se rendit ensuite au temple de Baal et le démolit; on brisa de belle façon ses autels et ses images et on tua Mattân, prêtre de Baal, devant les autels. Le prêtre établit des postes de surveillance pour le Temple de Yahvé,

2Mp 11:19

And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of the Lord, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king' s house. And he sat on the throne of the kings.

Ary nalainy ny kapiteny sy ny anjolofo sy ny mpiambina mbamin' ny vahoaka rehetra ary nentina nidina avy tao an-tranon' i Jehovah ny mpanjaka, ka teo am-bavahadin' ny mpiambina no nalehany hankao an-tranon' ny mpanjaka. Ary nipetraka tamin' ny seza fiandrianan' ny mpanjaka izy.

Joiada mpisorona, dia nalainy avokoa ny tompon-jato, ny Kariana, ny mpihazakazaka, mbamin' ny vahoaka rehetra tamin' ny tany, ka nentiny nidina avy ao an-tranon' ny Tompo ny mpanjaka, dia nididtra tao an-dapan' ny mpanjaka tamin' ny vavahadin' ny mpihazakazaka, ka nipetraka teo amin' ny seza fiandrianan' ny mpanjaka Joasa.

puis il prit des centeniers, les Cariens et les gardes, et tout le peuple du pays. Ils firent descendre le roi du Temple de Yahvé et entrèrent au palais par la porte des Gardes. Joas s' assit sur le trône des rois.

2Mp 11:20

And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was in quiet: and they slew Athaliah with the sword beside the king' s house.

Dia nifaly ny vahoaka rehetra, ary nandry fahizay ny tanàna Ary Atalia novonoiny tamin' ny sabatra tao an-tranon' ny mpanjaka.

Nifaly avokoa ny vahoaka rehetra tamin' ny tany, nandry fahizay ny tanàna, ary novonoina tamin' ny sabatra tao an-tranon' ny mpanjaka Atalia.

Tout le peuple du pays était en liesse mais la ville ne bougea pas. Quant à Athalie, on la fit périr par l'épée dans le palais royal.
