Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the Lord of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever.

And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The Lord will be magnified from the border of Israel.

Hahita maso izany hianareo, ka hifampilaza hoe: Hankalazaina anie Iaveh eo amin' ny tanin' Israely!

Vos yeux le verront et vous direz : Yahvé est grand par-delà le territoire d' Israël

A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the Lord of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

Un fils honore son père; un serviteur craint son maître. Mais si je suis père, où donc est l' honneur qui m' est dû ? Si je suis maître, où donc est ma crainte ? dit Yahvé Sabaot, à vous les prêtres, qui méprisez mon Nom. - Mais vous dites : En quoi avons-nous méprisé ton Nom ?

Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible.

Amin' ny fitondrana hanina voaloto ho eo amin' ny alitarako. Nefa ianareo manao hoe: Amin' inona no andotoanay Anao ? Amin' ny fanaovanareo hoe: Ny latabatr' i Jehovah dia fanazimbazimba.

Tamin' ny inona no nanamavoanay ny anaranao? - Amin' ny fitondranareo mofo voaloto eo amin' ny oteliko. Ary hoy hianareo: Tamin' ny inona no nandotoanay anao? - Amin' ny fanaovanareo hoe: Zavatra tsy manjary ny latabatry ny Tompo.

C' est que vous offrez sur mon autel des aliments souillés. - Mais vous dites : En quoi t' avons-nous souillé ? - En disant : La table de Yahvé est méprisable

And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the Lord of hosts.

Raha biby jamba no aterinareo hatao sorona, tsy ratsy va izany? Ary raha ny mandringa sy marary no entinareo, tsy ratsy va izany? Mandehana ange manatitra izany amin' ny governoranareo e! Hahazo sitraka aminy va hianao; hahita fitia aminy va hianao? hoy Iavehn' ny tafika.

Quand vous amenez des bêtes aveugles pour le sacrifice, n' est-ce pas mal ? et quand vous en amenez des boiteuses ou des malades, n' est-ce pas mal ? Présente-les donc à ton gouverneur : en sera-t-il content ? Te recevra-t-il bien ? dit Yahvé Sabao

And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the Lord of hosts.

Koa masìna ianareo, andeha mifona amin' Andriamanitra hamindrany fo amintsika fa ny tananareo no nahatonga izany, moa hankasitraka va Izy noho ny aminareo? hoy Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro.

Ary ankehitriny mifonà amin' Andriamanitra hamindra fo aminareo! ny tànanareo no nahatongavan' izany; moa ho voataonanareo hitsimbina va izy? hoy Iavehn' ny tafika.

Et maintenant implorez donc Dieu pour qu' il nous prenne en pitié c' est de vos mains que cela vient : vous recevra-t-il ? dit Yahvé Sabaot

Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the Lord of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

Enga anie ka hisy aminareo handrindrina ny varavarana ka tsy handrehitra afo foana eo ambonin' ny alitarako! Tsy hankasitraka anareo Aho, na ta-handray fanatitra amin' ny tananareo, hoy Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro.

Aoka ny iray aminareo, handrindrina ny varavarana ahay, mba tsy handrehetanareo afo foana eo ambonin' ny oteliko! Tsy mankasitraka anareo velively aho, hoy Iavehn' ny tafika; ary ny fanatitra avy amin' ny tànanareo tsy misy ankasitrahako.

Oh! qui d' entre vous fermera les portes pour que vous n' embrasiez pas inutilement mon autel ? Je ne prends nul plaisir en vous, dit Yahvé Sabaot, et n' agrée point les offrandes de vos mains

For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts.

Fa hatramin' ny fiposahan' ny masoandro ka hatramin' ny filentehany dia lehibe ny anarako any amin' ny jentilisa, ary any amin' ny tany rehetra no handoroana ditin-kazo manitra sy hanaterana fanatitra madio ho an' ny anarako; fa lehibe any amin' ny jentilisa ny anarako, hoy Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro.

Fa hatramin' ny fiposahan' ny masoandro, ka hatramin' ny filentehany dia lehibe ny anarako, any amin' ny firenena; ary manolotra emboka manitra amam-panatitra madio amin' ny anarako ny olona, amin' ny fitoerana rehetra, satria lehibe ny anarako, any amin' ny firenena, hoy Iavehn' ny tafika.

Mais, du levant au couchant, mon Nom est grand chez les nations, et en tout lieu un sacrifice d' encens est présenté à mon Nom ainsi qu' une offrande pure. Car grand est mon Nom chez les nations! dit Yahvé Sabaot

Mal / Ma 1:12

But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the Lord is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.

Fa ianareo kosa manamavo izany amin' ny fanaovanareo hoe: Voaloto ny latabatr' i Jehovah, ary ny haniny aterina eo dia tsinontsinona.

Hianareo kosa anefa mandoto azy, amin' ny fanaovanareo hoe: Voaloto ny latabatry ny Tompo, ary ny vokatra avy aminy, dia hanina tsinontsinona.

Tandis que vous, vous le profanez, en disant : La table du Seigneur est souillée, et ses aliments méprisables

Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the Lord of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the Lord.

Hoy koa ianareo: Tsy mba hasasarana lahy ! ary ikifonanareo izany, hoy Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro; entinareo ny nalaina an-keriny sy ny mandringa sy ny marary, ka dia aterinareo ho fanatitra; moa ta-handray izany amin' ny tenanareo va Aho ? hoy Jehovah.

Ka hoy hianareo: Inty! Mahasorisorena be ihany! dia tsy asianareo raharaha akory izy, hoy Iavehn' ny tafika. Entinareo avokoa, na ny zava-nofetsena, na ny biby mandringa sy marary, dia izany no aterinareo ho fanolorana! Ka azoko ankasitrahana va izay avy amin' ny tànanareo? hoy Iaveh.

Vous dites : Voyez, que de souci! et vous me dédaignez, dit Yahvé Sabaot. Vous amenez l' animal dérobé, le boiteux et le malade, et vous l' amenez en offrande. Puis-je l' agréer de votre main ? dit Yahvé Sabaot

But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the Lord of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

Aoka ho voaozona ny mpanambaka izay manan' ondralahy eo amin' ny andian' ondriny, ka manao voady, nefa biby farofy no ataony sorona amin' ny Tompo. Fa Mpanjaka lehibe aho, hoy Iavehn' ny tafika; ary mahatahotra ny anarako, any amin' ny firenena.

Maudit soit le tricheur qui possède dans son troupeau un mâle qu' il voue, et qui me sacrifie une bête tarée. Car je suis un Grand Roi, dit Yahvé Sabaot, et mon Nom est redoutable chez les nations
