Judge not, that ye be not judged.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Ary ahoana no hilazanao amin' ny rahalahinao hoe: Aoka aho hanaisotra ny sombin-kazo eo amin' ny masonao; nefa, indro, ny andry eo amin' ny masonao?

Ary ahoana no ilazanao amin' ny rahalahinao hoe: Avelao hesoriko ny tapak' ahitra amin' ny masonao, nefa indro fa misy sakamandimby eo amin' ny anao?

Ou bien comment vas-tu dire à ton frère : "Laisse-moi ôter la paille de ton oeil", et voilà que la poutre est dans ton oeil !

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother' s eye.

Hypocrite, ôte d' abord la poutre de ton oeil, et alors tu verras clair pour ôter la paille de l' oeil de ton frère.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Koa raha ianareo, na dia ratsy aza, mahalala hanome zava-tsoa ho an' ny zanakareo, tsy mainka va ny Rainareo Izay any an-danitra no hanome zava-tsoa ho an' izay mangataka aminy?

Si donc vous, qui êtes mauvais, vous savez donner de bonnes choses à vos enfants, combien plus votre Père qui est dans les cieux en donnera-t-il de bonnes à ceux qui l' en prient !

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

mais étroite est la porte et resserré le chemin qui mène à la Vie, et il en est peu qui le trouvent.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep' s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Mitandrema ianareo, fandrao ho voafitaky ny mpaminany sandoka, izay mankao aminareo amin' ny fitafian' ny ondry, fa ao anatiny dia amboadia mitoha izy.

Tandremo ny mpaminany sandoka, izay manatona anareo manao fitafian' ny ondry, nefa ao anatiny amboadia mitoha;

" Méfiez-vous des faux prophètes, qui viennent à vous déguisés en brebis, mais au-dedans sont des loups rapaces.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Un bon arbre ne peut porter de mauvais fruits, ni un arbre gâté porter de bons fruits.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Tout arbre qui ne donne pas un bon fruit, on le coupe et on le jette au feu.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Ainsi donc, c' est à leurs fruits que vous les reconnaîtrez.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Tsy izay rehetra manao amiko hoe: Tompoko, Tompoko, no hiditra amin' ny fanjakan' ny lanitra, fa izay manao ny sitrapon' ny Raiko Izay any an-danitra.

Tsy izay rehetra manao amiko hoe: Tompo, Tompo, no hiditra amin' ny fanjakan' ny lanitra; fa izay manao ny sitra-pon' ny Raiko izay any an-danitra, izy ihany no hiditra amin' ny fanjakan' ny lanitra.

" Ce n' est pas en me disant : "Seigneur, Seigneur", qu' on entrera dans le Royaume des Cieux, mais c' est en faisant la volonté de mon Père qui est dans les cieux.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

La pluie est tombée, les torrents sont venus, les vents ont soufflé et se sont déchaînés contre cette maison, et elle n' a pas croulé : c' est qu' elle avait été fondée sur le roc.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

La pluie est tombée, les torrents sont venus, les vents ont soufflé et se sont rués sur cette maison, et elle s' est écroulée. Et grande a été sa ruine ! "

And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
