Tsy manana lova amin' ny zanak' i Jese izahay; samia mody any an-dainy avy, ry Isiraely e; ankehitriny tandremo ny taranakao, ry Davida ô. Dia samy nody ho any an-dainy avy ny Isiraely.

Nony hitan' Israely rehetra fa tsy nohenoin' ny mpanjaka izy, dia hoy ny navalin' ny vahoaka ny mpanjaka: manana anjara inona amin' i Davida moa izahay? Tsy manan-dova amin' ny zanak' Isai akory izahay! Koa samia ho any an-dainao, ry Israely! Fa hianao kosa, ry Davida, ahio ny tranonao. Dia lasa Israely nankany an-dainy.
